Shine are on the hunt for the shining stars of the future.

If you're currently studying at university, college or looking to kick-start a career in PR

then you might like to consider applying for our internship programme.

Shine is one of the freshest, smart and connected brand communication consultancies in
the industry and we’re offering you the opportunity to work as part of a dedicated team.
This will include experience across Shine’s broad portfolio, including blue chip clients
across youth, entertainment and lifestyle.

We are recruiting for four individuals to join us for a three month paid internship. One
placement starts in April/May and the other from July with two places available on each.
The successful candidates will be mentored by some of the best PR professionals in the
business – ensuring you get a great head start in this dynamic industry!

Within your covering letter we would like you to tell us about your skills:
 Why would you be suited to a job in PR?
 Which recent PR story really caught your attention?
 Any dates you aren’t available to work and the reason why

Plus we would like to get a sense of you as a personality by telling us (in no more than
200 words each):
 Three interesting little known facts about yourself
 What it is that drew you to apply to Shine?
 What your favourite book, album, film or product is – and what you would do to
launch it to the media/target audience
 And anything else you think best shows off your creativity– could be a photo,
video, poem, piece of writing or presentation, it’s up to you

The closing date for entries is the 12th March 2010 if you are successful in the first stage
of application you will be contacted by the 19th March 2010 for a short phone interview. If
you impress us you will be invited to come and show us what you’re all about at Shine
for a face to face interview. If you’re one of the chosen ones you will be invited to
complete a three month paid internship, with the possibility of more if you really shine…
