Topic:
What were all the reasons the colonist began to call for a change in government?
Directions:
1. Visit www.theamericanrevolution.org to learn more about the American Revolution
2. Use a que cards or a worksheet to plan out your reasons.
3. Type out your que cards so it is easy to read.
4. Practice reading your que cards aloud until you feel you can read it fluently and with
expression.
5. Read and record your script on the computer and download it to be brought in to the
teacher

1. Visit http://www.historycentral.com/Revolt/battles.html to learn more about the major
battles of the American Revolution
2. Use an interactive map to show were the battle of Lexington took place and where the
major battles that followed were. Be Neat and Colorful!
3. Type out a summary of why the battle of Lexington is so important and where the shot
heard around the world comes from.
4. Present your map, summary and story to the class.
