EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN PROFORMA

Copies of this document should be provided to all staff and to the schools designated emergency contact person. The
information supports the initial response to an incident and should form part of a more detailed emergency management
plan.
Features of the region
Kooyoora state park is a small park, surrounded by roads and with an extra road down the middle of the park. Mount
Kooyoora along with several other small mountains is situated to the north of the park. The bush is sometimes dense but
mostly sparse and many open areas for groups to camp. In the centre of the Park there is a large camp ground and
many visitor sites.

How long will it take for support to arrive? 20 Minutes
Provide descriptions of multiple access routes if possible access available from Inglewood/Rheola road or DunollyWederburn road
Detail approximate travel time to medical help from the location
List sources of emergency support. Inglewood health service, police, cfa and parks inglewood
Consider whether helicopter access is possible. Possible from most locations
