In this spirit, 1 Lelteve that it Is important to set goals for our officers to achleve throughout the work year. One, aoe ininimum standard is set for a standard employee, end two, so the officer knows exactly where they stand during the evaluation year to reach the goal for that standard rating, With this being said, I have taken the entire District's last three years statistics and calculated the Sverage number of stops, ctatlons, seatbelt citations, warning/repair orders, DUI's, arrests, and commercial vehicle Inspections, per officer for 2 year. I have done my best to calculate these ‘Sfoteties and believe that they are very close to the 3 year average. ‘These statistics represent the Highway Patrol Division's area of concerns and these will be the standerds that we will use to talculate your "Work Habits® evaluation. We will talk about this more at our squad meeting on February 13th, but here is the short and skinny of It. Over the course of a year, you will need to Feheive 907 traffic stops, 316 citations/not Including seatbelts, 74 seatbelt citations, $72 Garnings/repalr orders, 15 arrests to jail, 5 DUI arrests, and 38 commercial vehicle inspections.
