SKILLS OVERVIEW
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
2015
Austin, TX
Accountable for software deployment, milestone management, and issue support for new product manufacturing, component
and brand partners.
Lead in streamlining external and internal partner interaction (via JIRA) and redefining software development processes to scale
with company and multi-product growth.
Meets with partners worldwide throughout the development process to ensure they have data and support from Roku to
successfully create product; on time and with outstanding quality.
Deployed a new product JIRA workflow to streamline and reduce churn for multiple, daily firmware releases
2014
Member of the Technical Staff (MTS) Engineer, Advanced Micro Devices Inc.
Austin, TX
Team leader and supervisor accountable for the end-to-end development and execution of a multi-million dollar
microprocessor manufacturing tester in the product pipeline.
Technical Lead and PM who defines, validates, and deploys manufacturing test infrastructure to China, Singapore and Malaysia
for next generation microprocessors. Accountability includes:
o
coordinates global equipment capacity fulfillment and submits purchase orders based on demand and budget
meeting production ramp and sustainment KPIs such as Gage R&R and FTRd
Accountable for success of our manufacturing-equipment development processes, continuously optimizing, educating teams
and ensuring organizational adherence.
Co-developer and SME for an improved burn-in infrastructure design which increases development velocity and lowers material
costs by more than 50%; from $1.1M+ to $590K.
2007- 2014
Austin, TX
Core designer, contributor, and mentor of a Ruby programming based tester control and validation architecture depended on
by local and global teams leading to a highly adopted, flexible test solution (2007 current).
Saved $750K in development and capital expenses by repurposing legacy testers as a focused test solution for 2014-2015
microprocessors.
Traveled worldwide to train manufacturing teams and drove workshops with Asia site engineers.
Drove a green belt charter to improve compliance of the equipment development milestones, ultimately leading to
o
an iteratively redefined process that streamlines customer and service provider interaction

Conjunctively applied voltage regulation subject matter expertise and Six Sigma principles to mitigate multiple unnecessary test
stopgap caused by misperceived tester variation, saving costly test time.
Pioneered the analysis framework and software toolkit to characterize and validate test system voltage regulators.
Addressed a PCBA functional test gap for voltage regulators by designing a CPU socket based voltage-controlled load
emulation board, capturing an additional ten percent of failing regulators and avoiding costly tester variation and downtime.
Generated a cost-to-coverage risk analysis for new test equipment options including procurement and labor costs ultimately
realizing a savings of $3M USD.
Provided an analysis of system capability for accelerated life testing of silicon leading the company to avoid purchasing over
$150K USD of new test technology to meet increasing product demand.
2005, 2006
St. Joseph, MI
Given responsibility to create proof-of-concepts for the Dishwasher Test Lab and the Electronic Design and Controls
o Designed an autonomous water flow rate monitoring system using LabVIEW and variable voltage flow rate meters (2005).
Coordinated with the mechanical, user-interface, and firmware teams to design and integrate a variable frequency DC-AC
inverter for prototyping electroluminescent technology in appliances (2006).
2007
AMD Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training and charter execution
