Revolutionary War
The Revolutionary War began in the year
1775 and ended in 1783. The war was
between the colonies and the British. In the
Revolutionary War many acts, famous people
and battles cam about.
Many years before the Revolutionary War, the
British won the French and Indian War. It cost
the British a lot of money. So Britain taxed the
Colonist. The colonist were not happy
because It was taxation without
representation.
Here are some of the acts they taxed them
with to get money back, for example:
1761 the sugar act. They taxed sugar and

1765 the quartering act. The British soldiers
could come in your help
1773 the tea act. They taxed there tea and it
also started the Boston tea party
1714 the riot act. The British could not fire for
an hour.
