Cultivate a welcoming store environment and developing a personal relationship with guests of all ages
Working with a team of two co-counselors we led a camp class of 8 students with severe profound handicaps
Duties included daily scheduling of: activities, crafts, lessons, meals/feeding, bathroom needs and recreation
Additional duties included planning daily and weekly lessons, teaching singing and movement time, carrying
out physical lessons (recess, gym time, dance), balancing feeding, changing and medication schedules from
parents, coordinating bus schedules/ parent pick up, intervening during self-threatening behaviors
Daily activities required the addition of sign language to increase communication with all students

Church Nursery Volunteer

Co-managing nursery rooms with 5 to 15 babies under the age of 24 months, planning thirty minute lessons
Duties include balancing schedules, following nursery procedures, fostering relationships between families
Work with a team of 3 additional adults to meet the needs of the babies during a hour and a half time frame

Fostering club dynamic of one to one friendships working with students with and without special needs
Duties included monthly paperwork, fostering personal friendships, scheduling and carrying out events
Managing a club of 54 members, coordinating an officer core of 4, planning activities for events, providing
leadership for events twice a month
