Club Membership
The Boys & Girls Club serves at-risk youth ages 6-18 in the
community, and with proper resources, we are able to positively
and abuse. When he first came to the Club, he had a hard time
getting through each day; he rarely spoke to or interacted with
and safe was no easy task, but with the help of our caring staff
and the instrumental work of his mentor, Sam can finally take
solace in finding an adult figure whom he
trusts and looks up to.

Our Mission
Our Story
In 1999, Boys & Girls Clubs of Emerald Valley was granted its
charter by Boys & Girls Clubs of America. We opened our doors
at the Westmoreland Branch in October at the former community
center and have been serving the youth of Lane County ever
since. On average we serve 150 youth a day, each greeted with a
friendly smile and the knowledge that they are safe at the Club.
We offer a wide variety of activities conducted in a warm and
friendly atmosphere to capture the interest of all youth attending.
Youth may come to the Club at any time during our hours of
operation.

Mentoring Opportunities
Our members have the opportunity to be matched with a
staff member, intern or volunteer who will mentor them for
an extended period of time.
The Arts
Encourages youth to develop their creativity and cultural
awareness through knowledge and appreciation of the visual
arts, crafts, performing arts and creative writing. We hold a
local Fine Arts Exhibit to honor our young artists. We also
have a daily art program and an annual Talent Show.
