THE BOOK THIEF

The Book Thief has won several

awards like the School Journal
Library Book of the
Year and was also
named on the New
York
Times
best
sellers
over
230
weeks.
The Book Thief shows
us
the
human
conception of love, courage, war,
mortality, criminality and suffering.
Through the eyes of Death and a
young girl Liesel, we are taken deep
into the chaos of Germany during

the time of Hitler. The book is

beautifully
written,
and
the
characters
are
conceived
so
ingeniously that the readers are
transfixed from the start to the
finish. It is easy to fall in love with
the idea of a young girl and her
experiences throughout the troubled
times.
The Book Thief is the greatest book
Ive ever read and I always
recommend.
