Outcome:Apossibleresultofaprobabilityexperiment

Event:Twoeventsaredependentiftheoutcomeoroccurrenceof
thefirstaffectstheoutcomeoroccurrenceofthesecondsothatthe
probabilityischanged.

Samplespace:thesetofallpossibleoutcomesofthatexperiment.

Probabilityofanevent:definedasthenumberofoutcomes
