Starr Elementary School 2015, May-June
Long-Term Substitute K-5 Music Teacher
Assumed the role of music teacher while the primary teacher took a maternity leave.
Provided students with a diverse introductory musical curriculum and a structured expectation/discipline plan for the
general music classroom throughout grades K-5.
Lead a 1st grade Ice Cream Social Concert as well as an end-of-the-year Kindergarten Celebration Concert
Followed through with two weeks of lesson plans from the primary teacher and constructed unique lessons to fill the
remainder of the school year.
Plainwell Community Schools 2015, Spring

Worked on a team to provide students with a balanced curriculum and a structured expectation/discipline plan for the
instrumental music classroom throughout grades 6-12.
