Self-Analysis Project: Unit One

Directions: You will make a power point about yourself. These guidelines will tell you what each slide should contain.
The entire presentation should have a theme, pictures in each slide and a detailed description that answers and
supports each question.
See rubric for grading on the following page.
Title and class (1 slide)
Create a title that fits your theme and your personality.

Who are you? (2 slides)


Your name, family, and what makes you proud.
What accomplishments have you made thus far in your life? (List at least 3)
Do you come from a big or small family, who is in your family?
What makes your family unique?
If you traveled far away and someone asked you to describe your family, what would you say?

Principles (2 slides)
What are your top 10 values? Why are these important to you? Explain in detail why you chose each of these values.
When have you used them to help your decision-making?

Things to Remember.

What is your dominant color (refer to your True Colors personality style outcome)?
What are your strengths and weaknesses related to your personality?

Strengths and Growth opportunities/ Biases (2 slides)


List five strengths you possess and explain each of them.
Then, list three things you would like to work on and why? Then identify one way you
could improve each weakness.

Culture (1-2 slides)


What is your culture and what part of your culture makes you proud. What do you
relate within your culture? (Food, traditions, clothing etc.) What traditions does your
family have? Think about the holidays, special times in your life or your birthday.

Your project should be at least 13-16 slides. You will be presenting this to the
entire class. You also need to print a copy of your presentation in the
HANDOUT format to hand in the day before your presentation. We will review
how to do this in the computer lab.
