When conducting my project I used many different sources varying from encyclopedias

to articles. Some of my most useful sources were the Encyclopedia of Russian History,
Britannica Academic, and Encyclopedia Americana also helped me. I used these sources to
gather general information about a multitude of subjects like culture, economy and government. I
used sources such as the Official website of the Moscow Metro, and the Official Website of the
Moscow government to find more specific information on the public transportation and political
organization. After creating my note cards, I divided them into multiple piles. I divided them up
by theme. I created piles for government, economy, people, culture, ect. I mainly had a lot of
trouble understanding the complex political system, making it difficult for me to write about it.
I created my website the way I did trying to reflect the colors of Moscow while also
being appealing to the viewer. On my website, I made sure to place photos that reflected
Moscow on that general aspect. I tried to have the photos relate to what the text below was
talking about. For example was reading about the legislative branch, they would see the Moscow
City Duma, and have a visual that would match up with what he/she learned. This not only
makes my site appealing and memorable to readers, but also gives viewers a sense of what
certain areas or buildings look like in Moscow.. I also tried to make the colors red and gold to try
and convey the colors of Russia.
Ever Since Moscow's founding Moscow has been prospering in every way possible, even
through the fall of the Soviet Union which devastated every other city. It is located on the
Moscow River, centrally placed in the system of rivers and roads that formed the trade routes
across European Russia, and just outside of Europe. Site is a term defined as the actual location
of a settlement on the earth and is composed of the physical characteristics of the landscape
specific to the area. Over time, as Moscows population got larger and developed more, the site

of Moscow has expanded. Moscow which is situated upon the Moscow River, has created a canal
system which means that they changed their site by creating artificial waterways.
Moscow acts as Russia's political, economic, and cultural center that no other Russian
city can compare to, with an economy, infrastructure, and involvement in the international
community that will only. Situation is defined as the location of a place relative to its
surroundings and other places. Moscow has completely changed their economic system to a
market economy. They have also created a government with multiple branches and are
attempting to lessen the corruption. Also, Moscow is remains the cultural center of Russia.
Moscow is the center of all Russian performing arts, music, and architecture. Overall, the
situation of Moscow will only improve with their economy getting better, their government
becoming more efficient, and remaining the cultural center of Russia.
