Valuing

Synthesis

to pursue.

Finding possible placement

opportunities.

Communication

In order to understand useful preparation and

guidance one will have to have valued it from a
career problem perspective by using the CASVE
model which stipulates when, how and what
information will be used.

(Reardon, Lenz, Sampson, Peterson, 2006-2009, P.66)

Communication II

This phase is the continuous cycle that repeats

within the CASVE model
The re-evaluation and reflection segment of the
CASVE model that addresses any academic or
situational issues in the workplace.
This step can constantly be used as the
reaffirmation stage regarding future and past plans
for continued academic and professional
achievement.

(Reardon, Lenz, Sampson Peterson, 2006-2009, P.306)

Analysis

Individuals achieve their career goals by using the

ongoing progression of exploring their individual
interests and along with their abilities; to endlessly
measure the strategic outcome of their planned
career goals during the effecting process of
securing their outlined goals.

Synthesis

overwhelmed with options

to go into based on

Academic preparation
Significant others (friends and/or family)

Execution

Convert thoughts into action through the

formulation of an action plan. The three phases
that includes the execution process are as follows;
1.

2.

3.

Make a written plan for obtaining education and

training, including dates and addresses.
Getting related experience through cooperative
education, volunteering, part-time work,
Filling out application forms, registering, paying and
taking concrete steps to implement a planned course
of action.

Conclusion
Overall a career plan is a written forecast of ones
intended career goals.
Laying out a career plan can help by making specific
goals attainable
While this can be difficult, career planning involves
number of achievable steps that are essential for
academic and career growth.
