Why did you select these two specific genres? I have selected Typography and Iconography as my genres because I will be getting my information from primary source documents, magazines and websites which fall under typography. In addition, I am planning to obtain more information via YouTube and television. 3. How does each genre communicate about your topic of inquiry? Typography will communicate about my inquiry via websites and primary sources while Iconography will Communicate information by introducing webcast and videos. Part Two Audience and Purpose 1. Who is/are the intended audience(s) and discourse community (ies)? The intendance audience is general people. 2. What does the audience already know and what do they want to know? The audience already knows medicine can make a difference. The audience wants to know how it is making a difference now, the pros and cons of a certain procedure. 3. I expect the audience to spend a significant amount of time in both typography and Iconography since both are sources that could be acquired from the social web making it accessible and in a way popular. 4. 1. How does this genre establish (or attempt to establish) its credibility with the audience? The genre Typography establish credibility when one uses primary sources such as investigations/analysis that are recorded as certain events happened. Providing facts and logic (logos). 2. What emotions is the genre attempting to evoke from its audience? The genre is not attempting any emotional evoke from the audience. 3. What types of evidence are used to support claims? Is it valid/reliable? If there is No evidence, what is used to help support the information presented? The types of evidence use to support claims are research and Experiments conducted by scientist. Structure and Delivery 1. How is the information organized to covey its message? The information is organized to covey its message chronologically. 2. Are there limitations placed on the information because of the genre? Does it have more freedom to express what it needs to because of the genre? Since both of the genres involve social media it is more free to express what it needs in terms of opinions. 3. How does the structure facilitate its purpose?! The structure facilitates its purpose because as a medical research it is formed by facts.
