Capital punishment is known as the death penalty and should be illegal in all 50 states but
when you look at it in another person point of view as a family member of yours getting killed
either because they wasnt
doing anything or they are innocent than you would think that death penalty should be legal
a lot of people who want the death penalty to be illegal more than likely some people dont know
how it feels to have someone close to you to become a murder victim and people who has would
agree to the death penalty and want it to be legal. People are trying to prove that death penalty
should be illegal because Debating about the death penalty because a lot of people does not
deserve
to die because everybody is not evil. When some people do crime they do not mean for it to
happen and everybody deserve a second chance. Some people think the death penalty is applied
fairly
other people dont think so I disagree with the whole thing because I am against the death
penalty but I also think it is not applied fairly and The Death penalty is unjust and can be
wrongful because some innocent people may be put on death row and some people doesnt have
the money.
Capital Punishment is the legally authorized killing of someone as punishment in a crime also

it is known around the world including in the united states. Some famous people quoted on
Capital punishment. The only way in which a human
being can make some approach to knowing the whole of a subject is by hearing what can be said
about it by persons of every variety of opinion and studying all modes in which it can be looked
at by every character of mind. No wise man ever acquired his wisdom in any mode but this as
John Stuart Mill explains. When John says this quote he is saying that by knowing the
whole subject when someone explains something that a character of mind.
Regardless of their views on the moral or practical value of capital punishment, many americans
are now questioning the accuracy of convictions that lead to death sentences The News services
explains a lot of people are asking about the death sentence and many people still have
a question mark about the death penalty and why do they use it. Capital punishment is as
fundamentally wrong as a cure for crime as charity is wrong as a cure for poverty as Henry Ford
says. This country is becoming increasingly authoritarian. Its based on capital punishment Kate
Millet says in her quote she is saying that the united states are starting to take more
force. Many that live deserve death, some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them?
Then do not be too eager to deal out death in judgement J.R.R Tolkein says he is saying nobody
should give there opinion because they really dont know. If we believe that murder is wrong and
not admissible in our society, then it has to be wrong for everyone, not just individuals but
governments as well Helen Prejan is saying it cant just be just a partial of people that agree with
the death penalty it has to be everybody including the government. An eye for an eye makes the
whole world blind Mohandas Gandhi explains that if everyone look at something the same than

nobody would look at something differently and it would make the whole world blind. A sign of
hope is the increasing recognition that the dignity of human life must never be taken away, even
in the case of someone who has done great evil. Modern society has the means of protecting
itself, without definitively denying criminals the chance to reform. I appeal for a consensus
to end the death penalty, which is both cruel and unnecessary. Pope John Paul II explains that he
agree that the death penalty is cruel and unnecessary. As Long you have capital punishment there
is no guarantee that innocent people wont be put to death Paul Simmon.
Capital Punishment is our societys recognition of the sancity of human life
says Orrin Hatch. He is explaining that capital punishment is the recognition of
the sanity of the life of humans.
Most ancient societies accepted the idea that certain crime deserved capital punishment.
So Capital punishment has been around for awhile. The view of capital punishment
was challenged during the enlightenment of the eighteenth century that was when they first
decided
to try capital punishment. The punishment of murder by death is contrary to reason and to the
order and happiness of society this is saying that want society to be happy with the
capital punishment but nobody can be happy with capital punishment. The united states and most
european nations continued to execute criminals , believing in its justness and in its deterrent
effect. They are executing criminals around the world and also in other countries they
are agreeing with the death penalty and also agreeing that murders should be put to death. A
movement to abolish or at least restrict the death penalty began to take shape in the writing of
cesurae Beccaria Montesquieu , voltaire and others. Unremorseful murders deserve to die

as the people in our society explains they have no sympathy for the murders and the killing
they want them to be put to death. The Punishment of death is not authorized by any right. This
is explaining that the death penalty cannot be controlled it is now a law that have established.
The death of a citizen cannot be necessary but in one case and in that case it is murder.
To kill the person who has killed someone close to you is simply continue the cycle of violence.
Meaning you are rotating on what happen of the killing cycle. The facts are shown that Hispanic
and blacks are charged with most capital crimes which makes up 13 percent of the nations
population almost 50 percent of those currently on the federal death row are African American.
Society has nonetheless steadily moved to more human methods of carrying out capital
capital punishment.
Some people think the death penalty is applied fairly other people dont think so I disagree with
the whole thing because I am against the death penalty but I also think it is not applied fairly.
There are many more options and resources that could be utilized in these types of situations.
Nobody deserves to have their life taken, not even criminals. Most anti death penalty
claims, which are either false or which are weaker than the pro death
penalty claims a black male is 40 times more likely to get the death sentence
as a white male, even for the same crime. Some who commit one murder and ends up getting
the death penalty when they are some people who commit 2 -3 murders and than end up getting
the death penalty It isn't always fair because some people commit double homicides or even
more, and get life in prison. Government had sent these people who had
committed crimes to a rehabilitation center, they would learn, and if they
don't than they would be put back on death row or back in prison. Some people

who agrees with the rehabilitation says Killing off the criminals won't stop crime. Rehabilitation
and help for these people will help. Some people also says Taking a life is wrong no matter how
you look at it and they said nobody deserves to have their life taken not even criminals.
If one group of people stands more than likely to victimized by a law than another.
There are many more option and resources that could be utilized in these types of situation.
Some acts of violence merit the death penalty.
The Death penalty is unjust and can be wrongful because some innocent people may be put on.
death row and some people doesnt have the money. The death penalty alone imposes an
irrevocable sentence since 1973 at least 121 people have been released from death row
during the same period of time over 982 people have been executed. Absolutely nothing
can be done to make amends if a mistakes has been made. These statistics represent an
intolerable risk of executing the innocent. When the cases were retried over 80% of the
defendants were not sentenced to death and 7% were completely acquitted.DNA testing has
exonerated death row inmates. DNA testing became available only in the early 1990s. If this
testing had not been discovered until ten years later many of these inmates would have
been executed. Society takes many risks in which innocent lives can be lost. Knowing the
statistically some workers will be killed during construction. Although wrongful executions are
preventable risk meet societys needs of punishment and protection without running the risk of
an erroneous and irrevocable punishment. The innocent man who has released
has been very fortunate. But he was spared because of the informal efforts of concerned
citizens not because of the justice system. The Main idea of this is The Existence of the

death penalty in any society raises one underlying question. They established our justice systems
out of a desire for rehabilitation or out of desire for retribution. The lister has set out to
examine both sides of the debate over the ethics and legality of capital punishment especially in
the US and chooses neither side in any of the following entries. They are not presented in any
meaningful order. In a larger sense , capital punishment is the ultimate warning against all
crimes. The criminal knows that the justice system will not stop at putting him
to death then the system appears more draconian to him. Murder still happens very
frequently . The facts that many criminals who ride the fence on committing murder.
ultimately decide to spare the victims life. The US had a 2012 murder rate of 4.8
victims per 100,000. Almost nearly 15,000 people were victims of homicide that
year. Capital punishment does not appear to be doing its job it seems like it
doesnt seem to be changing every criminal mind about killing innocent people. It does
not dissuade then it serves no purpose. The warning of life in prison without parole must equally
dissuade criminals. This conclusion The death penalty has a foundation in justice in justice
and it spares more innocent lives. The majority populations of all countries likely support
the death penalty for some crimes. Anti death penalty arguments are either false or the pro
death penalty arguments are stronger. 95% of murder victims family members support
death penalty. Life imprisonment is worse than the death penalty. The arguments against
the death penalty are mainly ethical in their nature. The argument put forward by people who
support or are against the death penalty often reflect their deeper principles and beliefs.
These beliefs and principles are deeply rooted in life experiences and the way people are
bought up and are unlikely to be swayed by clever arguments. When people have been killed

there is no chance of rehabilitation or criminals trying to make up for crimes. There are
other points too in support of the death penalty one of these being cost. There are some storys
about some people being executed because they murder somebody and has been sent away in
prison for a long time and than was found guilty of the murder. 40 year old Darius Kimbrough
was executed on Nov. 12 , 2013 for breaking into 28 year old denise collins on october of 1991
when he sexually assaulted and beat her to death. Kimbrough was 19 when he climbed into an
Orlando apartment and sexually assaulted and killed Denise Collins, 28. Kimbrough was
condemned for the October 1991 killing of 28-year-old Denise Collins, who was attacked in her
apartment as she slept. Kimbroughs 1994 trial that blood and semen samples
taken from Collins bed were compatible with the defendants DNA.It was the second time a new
mix of drugs was used in Florida since the previous execution Oct. 15. Kimbrough was not a
plaintiff in a lawsuit by other inmates who have argued the use of the new drug mix should be
halted as unconstitutional. He was serving 22 years before his execution were he was serving
them at Florida State Prison in Starke. Darius Kimbrough was pronounced dead at 6:18 p.m after
execution.Denise Collins family agreed with the death penalty. Another story similar to that
is Mr. Jamie McCoskey, 49, was also put to death after convicted in 1991 on rape and
murder charges.McCoskey was already on probation stabbing 21 year old
Michael Dwyers & raping Dwyers pregnant wife. McCoskey Abducted the couple from there
apartment. McCoskey became the 15th convicted killer executed this year in Texas, which
carries out the death penalty more than any other state. His mother testified at his trial that
McCoskey had an abusive childhood that led to behavioral problems. Prosecutors presented

testimony McCoskey had an anti-social personality disorder but did know right from wrong. He
was executed by lethal injection on November 12, 2013. As a result of Capital Punishment
it is legal and should be legal because if somebody were to kill one of youre family member
who was harmless and didnt bother anybody you would want them killed.
