Lesson Reflection
1. As I reflect on the lesson, to what extent were students/clients productively engaged? (Brief
description of how they were or were not productively engaged.)
I feel that the students were engaged fairly well throughout the whole lesson. The only part that kept
them from being fully engaged was the movie presented in the beginning. The rest of the lesson they had
to be engaged to complete the tasks.
2. Did the students/clients learn what I intended them to learn? (list objective) Were my instructional
goals met? How do I know? Or how and when will I know?
Psychomotor: After completing the web quest on Sun Exposure, the student will be able to select a topic
and demonstrate it on their PSA on Sun Exposure.
The students completed this goal, because I went around the room and asked each group what
their topic was for their PSA and how they were going to present it.
Cognitive: After completing the game review on the clickers, the student will be able to identify areas of
sun exposure that they need to research more about to complete the PSA on Sun Exposure.
The students all completed the review by using the clickers and found the correct answers. I will
know if they understand the information more when they complete the unit quiz on Day 3.
Affective: Upon completion of the web quest on Sun Exposure, the student will develop a long-term
goal along to demonstrate the impact of future behaviors on physical and social health outcomes.
The students will develop this goal once they complete and present their PSAs on Day 3.
