When locating the subject and verb of a

sentence, make sure to ignore prepositional
phrases. They will lead you astray!!!

agreement, especially concerning how to factor in
prepositional phrases.

verbs and, with an arrow, link them to the
nouns they modify. Determine whether there
are subject-verb agreement errors.
REMEMBER: Do not be thrown off by
