Accounting is a relatively special industry as well as one of the most important
jobs in each organization, which is responsibility to the organizations financial
aspects. Accountants in the industry are planning their own career path in ways that
are more suitable for their own life situations. It does not matter what field or job you
have, any occupation will need career planning, because accounting is a group of
financial analysts helping to shape a better organization.

Therefore, I want to

implement my own knowledge and experience to also pursue my field in accounting.

Not only I want to demonstrate my ability in enterprises, but also successful
accounting firms. Maybe the importance shows less through property management,
but their strategic goals are crucial to their key to success. Therefore, I chose
accounting as my major.
Compared with other major, accounting which is a practical discipline has to deal
with a lot of statistics, audit and mathematics knowledge, so I made a plan for the
future career. First, I need to constantly strengthen computer application ability,
especially the application of excel, word. Secondly, I will comprehensive study
accounting courses and get the accountant license as soon as possible. Next, engaged
in financial related work, and improve oral English application ability at the same
time. Then, get the CPA qualification and enrich the financial, taxation, legal
knowledge. Finally, I can accumulate the work experience to improve the
management ability. Although the road is very long, Ill try my best to do.

Regardless of the companies size, we need accountants to ensure the normal

operation. The accountants are the cores who are the key to the institutions. For
instance, financial accounting system or corporate audit work which is the content of
the enterprise development core. Company put the accounting department as the main
part of enterprise strategy implementation of the system so that the company could
develop better financially. In addition, accounting industry is relatively unique; the
job turn over rate is relatively low. Therefore, accountants job is more secured and
safe comparing to other professions. Accountants salaries are increasing, because the
demand is higher. According to related survey (1), survey 2006 accounting personnel
average salary is around 900 dollars, increased by 23.65% compared to the salary in
2004. Accountants salary is closely related to the employees education degree, with
the improvement of education, companies are paying more to their employees. As the
personnel engaged in this industry, good work ability is very important, at the same
time also is the main factor that salary level certificate. In China, the ministry of
finance, ministry of personnel, jointly organized the national accounting professional
and technical qualification examination, test registration number are in more than 1
million people a year, the examination is the basic qualification of engaged in
accounting work. A CPA certificate, if you become an accountant registered in China,
you will earn around 800 dollars or more.

If you show your hard work and

dedications, with a good promotion from upper management, moving up to a finance

director, then the annual average salary can reach around 4000 dollars. For me, want
to have a good career prospects, all kinds of qualification certificate is required.
Recently, accounting function is enriched with the development of market
economy so that accounting work is becoming complex. As an accountant for target I
should work hard with a positive attitude. Although an accountant has a professional

knowledge and familiar with various rules, they lack of enthusiasm to work so that
they could not play its proper role.
A few days ago, I conducted a survey about my major and future career. Objects
are accounting related practitioners. One of them was the accountant in China; he was
my senior in high school. He thinks that domestic companies need a large number of
accountants, but the job of development is poor. This piece of accountants demand is
the biggest, which is the largest of the accountants employment direction. A lot of
small and medium-sized companies in China, especially private companies, they just
need to find Mr. maintained" for the accounting jobs instead of professional talents
with financial management and analysis ability. Moreover, these kinds of companies
that financial supervision and control system is lower level than foreign companies.
Thus, the accounting works are generally controlled through his cronies. To be a big
company, they will hire "outsiders" in order to control financial accounts because
cronies can not control financial accounts complex by oneself.
Another accountant who is my friend has worked for two yeas said foreign
companies pay well and you can learn more professional knowledge from works. For
the corporate welfare, most foreign companies are better than domestic enterprises. In
addition, foreign financial management method is very mature; this means that
companies can conduct professional training quickly and efficiently for new
employees. Good work ability that one of the reasons is the assignment of labor, and
the reasonable division of labor makes us responsible to learn a particular aspect of
knowledge. Adverse to the career development process though this skill is very
professional, because it was difficult to obtain the company account control.
Meanwhile, enterprises that provide training opportunities are different from listening
to the teacher at school, which is sticker in the practical work.

And they all agreed that companies have a characteristic, which is tired. However,
difference aspect is that many small companies are low salary, chores and so on.
Foreign companies such as corporate welfare of Google is much better, but in some
ways, their works is heavier. There were even claims that there is some "women as
men, men as cattle", people work overtime is normal. However, the company can
really learn the knowledge what you did not know in college. Due to lack of
accountants, you have to be from beginning to end for an audit program. It includes
the department of communication, which can enough exercise ability. Another thing is
the team cooperation and the international accounting standards, professionalism
aspects and so on, which will give a difficult hone.
According to the opinions of my senior, I found that companies rarely reuse an
outsider because of a lack of trust. As we all know, accounting is a very sensitive
professional, it comes to money, which involves the unit many private things.
Therefore, companies at the time of hiring accountants pay special attention to the
reliability of the candidates. A person who can say, ability, knowledge is the second,
the main credibility. If other conditions meet the requirements, unit of choose and
employ persons is most receptive to those recommended by acquaintances. The trust
between people is priceless; it is the embodiment of the pure feelings between people.
Not only to our physical and mental pleasure, it also can make an organization play a
greater effectiveness because the person is the most active factors in the organization.
For example, a woman often works late, she sometimes need to work overtime to the
early morning, and then at half past eight normal work, lunch, dinner each one hour of
rest, which is very tired. She feels company in exploitation, but the boss is very kind
to her. The most difficult when she wants to go, but she don't want to let the boss
down again, so I insisted on down because she have a belief in my heart, that must not

live up to the boss about their share of the trust and look forward to. However,
accountants how to win the trust of the boss? First of all, you can locate yourself in
the organization level, clear job content, goal, clear to the boss about your work
requirements. In the process of the work you want to let the boss know what are you
doing, clear the importance to the organization work. I n engaged in accounting work,
in order to let the boss know what we are doing, we need to adhere to constantly
reflect the organization financial situation to the boss and our analysis of the
organization's financial situation. To show that we are thinking and doing things is
understanding of our organization. Next, we should have the sense of responsibility.
Accounting is a housekeeper, people take the boss's money as his own money to tube,
maybe the boss is a big asset, but the steward should also be strictly controlled, we
can't spend a penny; The boss say not out of his own fortune, housekeeper is clear.
Third, we should have excellent professional skills and knowledge. Accounting as a
profession, in addition to the professional ethics and professional ethics, we must have
the required professional knowledge and skills. Accounting should have good
professional technology level, for the boss put forward the proposals and Suggestions
of production and management needs for the development of the organization. Fourth,
we should learn to communicate. Accountants is a social person, social person can not
do anything without communication, so our accountants need to learn how to
communicate with subordinates, colleagues, superior and boss, which is
communication with the functions of the society, especially the communication with
the boss is particularly important. Through the communication to understand other
people think about you, especially the boss view; Through the communication to
show your work ability and general ability; Through the communication to understand
and learn from other people a good place to improve ourselves. Fifth, we do things

without violating the law and moral premise as far as possible for the sake of
organization and increase the interests of the organization. Do accounting like to be a
person, personality is one of the most important, sincere will trust him. Boss often in
casual conversation test you. Therefore, with the sincerity to treat company, we should
work like my own things. We want to know the boss thought and boss of sorrow, so
you will get the trust of the company and you will get the trust of the company. Sixth,
we should love our own work. Do a good job so that we could win the trust of the
boss.
Now in China, more and more parents just care about the children's educational
achievements in the college. Chinese parents believe that childrens job is to learn.
The better children's grades, the more choice for their future. However, parents in
America care about children's learning for Judgment. They argue that children should
develop freely. Neither major nor job children can look for by themselves. In college
education, get a good result is not the purpose of learning; even more important is to
apply the knowledge to the society and their life. I think that education should be an
authorization process, allowing and guide children to develop their passion, critical
thinking, and action direction of wisdom, which is good to make a job decision.
Almost no one care about what they love to do, so allowing and guide children to
develop passion are necessary. Let children know what knowledge they can use in the
job. Then they can find a fun job easily in the future. Passion at work is more
important. An interesting job will become an ordinary person to a great person as
Qiuwen Bai who is a foreign doctor in China. He saves people life in the war.
Although he has dead in the war, his honors are recorded in China history. According
to a recent report by Deloitte (2), 88% of employees who do not have the passion for
work, so they do not contribute their full potential. Whether having a passion is

different thing. I can honestly say that I love my major, even my future job. I believe
that I can change the world through accounting. As a simple example, I finished my
accounting 1A in the PCC so that I can apply to become a tutor. Although I did not
become the tutor in the end, I always teach my friend who did not complete
accounting 1A class. My friends are very grateful to me for their help. I am also very
happy and their good grades increase my passion.
Critical thinking is a rich concept that be used in learning. In college education
process, students could learn the ways to master critical thinking, which is helpful to
adapt to work environment. Ken Robinson (3) stated creating conditions where kids'
natural talents can flourish. I agree with this argument. In the Sir Ken Robinsons
video, education is one of the major reasons why a lot of people dont do something
what they love. Since education dislocates many people from their natural talents.
They say Robinson, you have to looking for them, and theyre not just lying around.
Talent is the need to find. Although God give it to person, he cannot find that it means
it does not belong to him, but education ought to fill and help him to find the talent.
Unfortunately, many times it is not. More and more children in the room to learn,
rather than outdoors, children need to go outside to explore, discover, think, and not
be engrossed in the Tablet PC. In Hos essay (p112-114), the author stated, ...extends
even to children the license to freely speak, write and be creative. I agree with this
argument because everyone has their own life, the future road is so long, children
have to learn to depend on themselves to look for their job.

Action direction of wisdom depends on a teacher. When a person has a higher

wisdom, he can handle relationships in the work. The education Act (5) in the United
States, the government has provided more financial assistance to the community

college in order to allow students could finish education and vocational training
programs in two years. From the TED video, Salman Khan (6) shows the effect of the
interactive exercises between students and teachers. He requires teachers to threw
away the traditional teaching model, using new teaching mode, which let students
watch video lectures at home. Meanwhile, teachers should do enough homework to
deal with students' questions. I agree with new teaching method, because many
teachers are using this teaching method. In my interview, the professor is interested in
talking by power point. One reason is teacher can use a project to show words clearly.
Another reasons that the professor could not write the same content again and again to
different class students. I know a professor who teaches a math class. I think he is a
pretty professor because he can speak three languages in the class such as English,
Mandarin and Cantonese. All of students can understand what he teaches. In addition,
he also uses a different language sentence consisting interesting for students to
remember mathematical formulas easily. Therefore, he is the youngest and popular
teacher who I know. He makes timely action direction of students wisdom.
In conclusion, I think college education is helpful for students to look for their
jobs and adapt to work environment, but it still needs to improve. When I attend PCC,
I can gain knowledge and plan to a new discourse community in the future. Attending
college and get succeed in my life is most difficult question and goal, but many
people have to face it in order to be succeed in the future career so that they can be
rich and colorful life. A person has a rich life, including money and a beautiful wife.
The premise is that a better future at first to complete a university education, but not
everyone can get it. As a PCC student, I have so much responsibility and action to
learn every day.
