Most of the people uses apes for entertainment. To get chimpanzees to perform their trainers
beat them into submission. That is no way to treat animals through violence and fear. It's hard
to imagine anyone being so cruel as to viciously beat a young animal with pipes and broom
handles for the sole purpose of making that animal perform tricks for a movie.

making animal abuse videos in Texas. Her name was Ashley Richards a 23 years old women
from Huston, Texas. According to the accusation Richards appeared in several videos
mistreating animals. In one video she was seen slicing a small dogs neck with a knife and
slashing the animals leg with a meat cleaver. Brent Justice a 52 years old man was accused
for recording Ashley Richards while she was mistreating animals. He was fined $50,000. The
judge said that Richards case will be taken to the Texas Legislature, with the aim of having
lawmakers set longer maximum prison times for certain types of animal abuse.

furious because his girlfriend broke up with him took out his anger with the couples puppy.
He told his girlfriend that every time she didnt pick up the phone hell beat the puppy he
said that on the voice mail of his ex-girlfriend. In a later message as the dog yelped and cried

in the background Butcher said "You got some more of the dog getting beat. Butcher was
charged and convicted last year of animal cruelty.

learn about the various philosophies on animal testing, what tests are used, and how they are

performed. This book presents the pros and cons of animal testing and some of the alternative
methods to animal testing that scientists are developing today.

Teenagers Natwan Callaway and Bobby Hollinger, both 17 years old decided to get rid of
female pit bull dog named Cabela. She was purchased to fight other dogs but she was too
sweet-temper to do so. Natwan Callaway and Bobby Hollinger took the female dog into the
woods and fired a shot that injured the animal. When the Cabela came back home after
getting shot the teenagers tied her to the railroad tracks and Callaway shot her three more
times. Twice in the neck and once in the shoulder but Cabela survived. Teens admitted to the
crime after a surveillance video showed them walking with the pit bull. Both were charged
with aggravated animal cruelty and trespassing. Cabelas former owners named Darnell
Devlin of 18 years old and Kenny Bell of 21, face dog-fighting charges after police found
two injured dogs with bite marks on their neck and legs at Cabela's former home Cabela is
recovering nicely showing full extension of her leg, but still has a slight limp. Cabela has
been seen with her caregivers for a walk.
