I. Objectives:

storytelling experience.

II. Materials:
The book Rainbow Fish And The Sea Monster By Marcus Pfister
3 Bowls blue, green, pink
Chant 5 little fish
55 small fish, pink, green and blue
3 card with different numbers on them
III. Procedure:
A. Motivation
1. I will bring the children to the rug for story time.
2. I will ask the children what we have been learning about for the last
few days.
3. I will tell the children that today we will be learning about fish
B. Steps
1. I will begin the book
2. I will ask the children question while I read the book and
answer questions.
3. I will finish the book and tell the children that today we will be
sorting and identifying different color fish
4. I will put the children in groups of 4
5. I will tell the children that first we will be sorting the fish by
colors
6. The other teachers and myself will assist the children in
doing so
