C- The information on the website seems to be current and up to date; however, they do not have
any dates on their post, so it is hard to tell when they have been updated. When you click on the
tab Just daily facts, they post daily content. Also, the links on the website works. Just facts is a
non-profit research and educational institute that began as a website in 1997 and was formalized
as a 501(c)3 organization, so the site was been operating for some time now.
R- The website does contain appropriate breadth and depth of information. The information it
provides is necessary and sufficient. The information is definitely presented at an educational
level. The website talks a lot about political and controversial issues, so this could be one site to
go to if you need information about a topic that falls under these categories.
A-James D. Agresti is the president and primary researcher. Agresti holds a Bachelor of Science
in Mechanical Engineering from Brown University and has worked as a designer of jet engine
components and systems, a technical sales professional and chief engineer of a firm that
customizes helicopters. Stephen F. Cardone, the chairman of the board of directors, holds a
Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Brown University and has 25+ years of private industry
experience in corporate management, operations, logistics, accounting, and customer service.
Additionally, Just Facts' other board members, employees, contractors, and volunteers are all an
integral part of our organization. The site does provide contact information. You can email them
and leave a comment and they have also provided their address at the bottom of the website.

secondary ones. Just Facts documents facts they publish thoroughly with what the standard
academic practice requires. All of their research since 2001 contains footnotes and direct quotes
and raw data from the cited sources. This allows readers to verify that they accurately represent
those sources. Just Facts uses language that is precise and unambiguous in order to minimize any
potential or misinterpretation.

policy issues of our time. They accomplish this by abiding by the Standards of Credibility to
determine what constitutes a credible fact and what does not.

2015. The site is regularly updated. The links on the site are functional. However, it doesnt say
how long the site has been in operation.

date about everything happening politically.
A-Brooks Jackson, Director Emeritus - Brooks Jackson is a journalist who has covered
Washington and national politics since 1970, reporting in turn for the Associated Press, the Wall
Street Journal and CNN. He joined the Annenberg Public Policy Center in 2003 and launched
FactCheck.org in December of that year. Eugene Kiely is a journalist who has covered
government and politics for more than 20 years. Prior to joining FactCheck.org, Kiely was a
Washington assignment editor at USA Today, leading a team of reporters who focused on
Congress, politics and government accountability. Dr. Kathleen Jamieson, Elizabeth Ware
Packard was a professor at the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of

Also, you can confirm the information on this site with information provided on other sites. The
site is very professional and the language is appropriate of the audience. It is not harsh or
emotional.
P- Factcheck are a nonpartisan, nonprofit consumer advocate for voters that aims to reduce the
level of deception and confusion in U.S. politics. They monitor the factual accuracy of what is
said by major U.S. political players in the form of TV ads, debates, speeches, interviews and
news releases. Their goal is to apply the best practices of both journalism and scholarship, and to
increase public knowledge and understanding.
