Throughout his years as an inmate, he began reading a variety of books having to do with African American history aloag wih Elijah Muhammads stores. Muhammad was basicaly and icon inthe eyes of Malcom X which is wy he continued to read and practice. Malcolm X's motivetion in ltrature realy hits fll potential beceuse he was able to educate Fimself on topics he fourd interesting instead of what the teachers were giving him in grade school.
