Professional Summary
I am a caring and qualified Elementary School teacher with over 8 years of
experience working as an Educational Assistant. Focusing on meaningful curriculum
plans and developing young minds are high priorities for me as an educator. I am a
dynamic teacher with demonstrated capabilities in Levelled Literacy Intervention,
working with English Language Learners and incorporating technology into daily
lessons. I am committed to creating a learning environment where all students feel
safe, comfortable and can grow and learn enabling them to reach their full potential.

Duties Included: Implementation of a reading and writing program to increase
student literacy and support school reading programs. Successfully modifying the
general education curriculum for struggling learners and English Language Learners
based on a variety of instructional techniques and technologies. Developed and
taught lessons based on Fountas and Pinnells Levelled Literacy Intervention
Program using relevant childrens books, poems and themes to promote student
interest and collaborated with parents to discuss student goals and areas of need.
Fostered meaningful relationships with students through working with them in small
groups on a personal level as well as coaching and mentoring students who
participated in the schools Running Club and AMA School Safety Patrols. Also
performed administrative assistant duties in the school office.
