Practicum Experience in Mountain View, Alberta. Teaching Grades 5-9. Six weeks in the
classroom teaching Grade 7/8 Science, Grade 6 Science, Grade 5/6 Gym, Grade 9 Gym, and
Grade 7/8 Social.
Professional Semester I
Fall 2014
Practicum Experience in Lomond Community School, Grade 1/2. Five weeks in the classroom
teaching science and gym.
Education 2500 at the University of Lethbridge. Teaching field experience at G.S. Lakie Middle
School Grade 6 classroom from January to April, 2013

2011-2015
Volunteered at the Brooks Hospital in long term care assisting and interacting with patients from
January to July of 2011
Volunteered at the Brooks Animal Protection Society (Summer 2014 and Summer 2015)
Summer 2012
Gave campers information regarding the campground and surrounding area, answered
questions, and took phone calls.
Maintenance duties were performed such as mowing, weed whipping and up keeping campsites.
2010-2011
Spirit Council President. Organized meetings, planned school wide activities and addressed the
student body.
Gave tours and information to tourists about the park and surrounding area. I was required to
know the history of the park as well as the history of numerous artifacts.
Performing maintenance of the park including mowing and weed whipping the park grounds, up
keep of interior and exterior of buildings. Handled money, sold park merchandise, food and
drinks.
2006-2011
Captain of high school volleyball in 2010, two zone championships, one provincial championship
in high school. Captain of the Brooks Elite Club volleyball team for four years.
2005-2010
Club president for two years, secretary for one year. I had to perform jobs such as leading
meetings, teaching younger members, performing club speeches every year, training a 4-H
steer, and keeping in contact with the club leader about events and meetings for our club
Summer 2009
Performed maintenance tasks such as mowing, painting, weed whipping, cleaning, fixing and
opening up the college in the mornings.
