Irene Stacy Community Mental Health Center

About:
Irene Stacy Community Mental Health Center provides outpatient and residential services to
individuals in the community who struggle with mental illness, intellectual disabilities and substance
abuse disorders
The goal is to provide high-quality, affordable services to all
Irene Stacy is a non-profit organization, classified as a 501 (c) (3)
140 staff members
Majority of funds come from local employees who work at businesses that Irene Stacy works or
partners with, individuals on school boards and from the Butler County government
Another source of money is from grants
A local man was approached by the health board to invest in the facility
Irene Stacy Community Mental Health Center was named after the mans daughter who invested in
the facility.
Irene died in a car accident right before her father invested in the center. Ironically, she had no mental
health problems.

Encourage residents and businesses to support, volunteer and ideally join one of 40+ nonprofit
groups in Cranberry & Butler County. To increase volunteers & membership by connecting residents
to non-profit/civic groups. Create sustainability for Cranberry for long term community health
(Cranberry Plan)
Help to promote the non-profit/civic groups with their mission and programs (community days &
others)
Help raise money for the non-profit/civic groups and encourage them to provide community programs
& projects. Seed services and programs that benefit our residents and community. CTCC supports
the annual Community Project of the Year.
Mission: To meet the behavioral and mental-health care needs of the community through a variety
of treatment options, skill building, and education in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Vision: Every child and adult, who experiences mental illness, intellectual and developmental
disabilities, and substance-use disorders, deserves the opportunity to live a healthy, productive, and

The Irene Stacy Development Department team was at the Butler Farm Show grounds at the 9th
Annual Brian Ellis Community Day on August 14, 2014.
