Abu Ammaar Saeed Ahmed Founder and
President of IRFNY Islamic Research
Foundation New York
Abu Ammaar Saeed Ahmed is a student of
Islam and Comparative Religion. He started his
mission to spread the True Message of Allah in
2007 after listening to the lectures and debates
of Sheikh Ahmed Deedat and Dr Zakir Naik
which kindled him to learn and gain knowledge
of Islam, started from the basic tenets of Islam.
He started his journey by learning Arabic to
understand the pure Divine Language and
adhered himself to Quran and Sahih Hadith. He
had listened to numerous scholars and
researched himself from the original sources to
verify the authenticity of the information
listened which helped him to gain more
knowledge.
He has restricted himself to Quran and Sahih
Hadith only and do not follow any specific
section in Islam and do not follow anyone

without verifying authenticity of the information

from any scholar or speaker.
He had visited several scholars from different
sections in Islam to increase more knowledge
and also had attended several discussions,
debates, interfaith dialogs and meetings and had
successfully participated in several meetings
with scholars and international orators of Islam
as well as other religion scholars.
As the journey of knowledge moved on, while
gaining more knowledge he had opportunity to
deliver several public lectures and group
discussions on the Doctrines of Tawheed and
Bidah. His mission is to bring back Muslims to
Quran and Sunnah and to stop people from
following any customs and rituals of any
sections of Islam and from following their
elders blindly or the education and teachings of
the founder of the specific group and encourage
them to gain more knowledge of Tawheed and
Bidah.
He had visited several countries and visited
about forty states of America and currently

working on many projects includes Dawah,

Peace Relief, Family Counseling and Online
Islamic Education Courses for Muslims who are
interested in gaining more Islamic knowledge
from authentic source. While working on
different projects he had successfully completed
program and training under New York State
Family Court Law and currently a certified
social worker and family counselor, helping
Muslims and non-Muslims in violence, drug
addictions, domestic violence, raising children,
family and individual counseling including
spiritual and religious matters.
He had also authored several Islamic books
available in the market can be searched on
Google and currently working on upcoming
more on Islamic knowledge and issues in Islam.
He had successfully completed Tafsir Ibn Kathir
and several Hadith books includes Sahih
Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Nasai, Sunan
Abu Dawood, Sunan Tirmidhi and Sunan Ibn
Maajah including the sorted Sahih Hadith books
by Sheikh Albani and proved by The Permanent
Committee For Islamic Research and Fataawa
of Saudi. He has also launched a website

IRFNY.com in 2010 to help Muslim Ummah

and remove misconceptions about Islam.
IRFNY.com is the only Islamic website on
internet that offers live questions and answers
thru chat system. The website has many
chapters and areas of interest that can be utilized
according to ones interest. The site has
educational materials, video and audio lectures
and debates, free materials to download, Islamic
publications, pamphlets, Dawah materials,
online Islamic courses and books, Islamic
question and answers and Fataawa.
Since 2010 IRFNY.com has helped thousands
of Muslims answering questions around the
world and helped providing them family
counseling or any family matters. The live
questions and answers service is available
24hours to help with any questions about Islam
or counseling.
While gaining knowledge in Islam, he dedicated
himself towards studying the complete bible. He
learned the techniques and useful sources from
other Islamic scholars interfaith dialogs and
gathered all materials and memorized bible

verses that helped in debates. He started

practically having debates from streets of New
York with Christians on the topics Is Jesus God
or Son Of God, Is the Bible Word of God,
Was Jesus Crucified, Trinity.
He frequently put Dawah stalls on streets and
distributes free Islamic knowledge materials like
Quran, Islamic books, pamphlets, booklets of
questions and answers about Islam, materials
about Christianity and other religions with help
of volunteers.
More IRFNY media materials are available
around the internet and can be searched on
Google.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the
Merciful
Indeed, all praise is due to Allah. We praise
Him and seek His Help and forgiveness. We
seek refuge in Allah from our souls evils and
our wrong doings. He whom Allah guides, no
one can misguide; and he whom He misguides,
no one can guide. I bear witness that there is no
god except Allah and I bear witness that
Muhammad (pbuh) is His Messenger.
Quran 20:25-28

O my Lord! Expand me my breast (25) Ease my
task for me (26) And remove the impediment
from my speech. (27) So they may understand
what I say (28)

Praise Be To Allah
Surah Mulk 67, has 30 verses and among the
obvious Surahs. The question is what is so
important about this Surah that the prophet has
given glad tidings that a human being will be
saved from the punishment of grave, whoever
recite it every night. Allah said in two first
verses
Quran 67:1-2

)(

)(
Blessed be He in Whose hands is Dominion:
and He over all things Hath Power (1) He
Who created Death and Life, that He may try
which of you is best in deed: and He is the
Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving (2)
Hadith

10

Narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet

(peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
A Surah from the Quran containing thirty
verses will intercede for a man so that he will be
forgiven. It is the Surah Tabaarak Alathi bi
yadihil-mulk. (Tirmidhi 2891, Abu Dawood
1400, Ibn Maajah 3786, Ahmad 7634)
We understand it when we read the translation
and read Tafsir and more details. We will be
able to understand properly the hidden concept
and purpose behind the verses.
We believe Quran to be the true word of Allah,
knowledge about Allah and His commandments
to the human being that He passed on to human
beings thru His Messengers.
We, as a Muslim, believe Allah to be the true
and only creator of universe and only sustainer
and He is the true king of the universe. We
believe, He is the One, who created us, and He
is the one, that one day we have to return back
to Him and He is the final destination.

11

Allah has sent us book of guidance, from that,

He talks to human beings, yes we believe He
talks to us thru his book of guidance that is
Quran.
Quran 2:1

)(

This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without
doubt, to those who fear Allah. (2)
Allah has sent us the book of guidance, should
we not read it, understand it, and understand it
by paying full attention?
If we are talking to someone, and he is not
paying attention to you, doesnt give
importance; think how we should feel about the
situation. We might get angry and scream, we
can also leave the place or leave the person
alone for this insult, saying that, you are trying
to communicate and deliver your talk or have
important talk and they are not paying attention.

12

Similarly, when the audio of Quran recitation,

or there is a talk about Allah or conversation
about His Quran, going on, or discussion about
Islamic matter is going on, we do no pay
attention properly. First of all we do not take
interest in spending time for Allah and doesnt
want to sit and listen the lectures, but if we are
sitting while the conversation is going on, but
our mind is in worldly matters. Our mind is
wandering around and we think about the world,
music, movies, TV shows, our family matters,
and business matters. Naturally, these things
shaitan bring. Especially, when we want to read
Quran or listening to Islamic lecture or any
Islamic teachings.
Quran 7:204

)(
When the Qur'an is read, listen to it with
attention, and hold your peace: that ye may
receive Mercy. (204)

13

The Quran is a blessing from Allah and a book

of guidance for humans and we have to take it
serious, that it the Creator, who wants to say us
something and we should pay attention to it.
Quran 55:1-4

) (
) ( ) (

)( ) (
(Allah) Most Gracious! (1) It is He Who has
taught the Qur'an. (2) He has created man: (3)
He has taught him speech (and Intelligence) (4)
These first four verses, tell humans of four
blessings bestowed upon them by Allah, praise
to Him in His Highness. The first verse tells
them that Allah, the Beneficent, has mercy to all
of them, as explained earlier above. The second
verse tells them of His second blessing, which is
descending the Holy Quran to humanity also as
mercy and guidance for them to be happy in this
life, as well as in the hereafter. The third verse is
a reminder to them that Allah, the Beneficent,

14

praise to Him in His Highness, created them in

the best image, fashion, and proportions. The
fourth verse is a reference to the blessing of
enabling humans how to speak by creating the
physiological features necessary to speech, and
by blessing them with the suitable environment.
Quran is better than those things that people
have greed of. Quran is more valued than the
wealth of entire world. What is more valued to
Allah is, His Quran. The Quran is a blessing that
Allah is talking to His slaves directly, guiding
them thru Quran.
This is obligatory upon us, that whenever the
Quran is recited, we should be quite and pay
attention to the recitation. Besides sitting quiet
and listening, listen to it carefully. And when a
person can understand it, is by giving full
attention to each word.
We are always ready to spend time and we do
concentrate in worldly matters and also we
participate in the discussion, because we were

15

listening carefully from beginning. But when

there is a talk about Quran and any related
Islamic matter. We get tired, start yawning and
feel sleepy, and thats forced by shaitan because
he doesnt want us to listen to anything about
any guidance from Allah.
We should have thirst of learning about the
Quran, thinking that, Allah has created us and it
is our duty to have love for Him in our heart.
We should have love for Quran, so that we can
understand, what Allah is trying to tell us and
what message He wants to give us. We dont
even regret that we dont understand Quran
properly, because if we dont understand, we
should start giving time to Quran to understand
by dedicating our time. We always have free
time for the world, but when it comes to reciting
Quran or understanding each word from Quran,
then we are so busy, we have to do this and that,
because we give importance to everything but
not to Quran.

16

Also shaitan comes to disturb us, especially in

Salah. When we are not praying Salah, we do
not remember about other things, but as soon as
we start praying Salah, worldly matters start
popping up in mind during Salah. Because,
shaitan doesnt want you to concentrate in
Salah. The worldly matters that never
remembered anytime, but it starts coming in
mind during Salah with imagination, that after
the prayer you will do this and that and you
have to this task and that task, just to distract
from Allah. Because shaitan knows if a person
Salah is strong, his Dua will be accepted and
Allah will upgrade his ranking, and thats what
shaitan hates. He doesnt want human to go
close to Allah by good worship.
It is so strange, that we are always interested in
interfering in other matters and we always
wanted to learn other things and worldly
education and we get curious to know about
things in the world. But when it comes to
Quran, how is that, we dont even have thirst

17

about learning it. We are not even worried about

to dedicate ourselves to learn Arabic and
understand the Divine language and understand
what Allah is commanding us in His book. We
must realize we are Muslims, and we have to
know, He is the One who created us, His is the
One who send us on earth, He is the One, who
will take our soul, He is the One, to whom we
will return, and we cannot escape without
answering our deeds. We also believe, based on
our deeds, either we will be reward Jannah or
we will be among the unfortunate people. We
are fortunate Ummah of Muhammad (pbuh),
because Allah has given us the formula to enter
Jannah is, in Quran. So it is obligatory upon us
to obey His commandments and it is obligatory
upon us to understand his message in Quran.
In Quran, Allah has clearly explained very well
everything that we are seeking answer for. Even
on one question, He explained it different ways
several times so we will be left with no doubt or
misunderstanding, that how to achieve our

18

success in this world and Hereafter. After all,

then it becomes obligated upon us to search for
truth in the Quran and recite it, the way it
deserve it, unlike other any books in the world.
We should read it with understanding and listen
to the recitation with concentrating on each
word, by that, Allah opens the door towards
light of Hidaaya.
Alhamdu Lillah, nowadays, majority are
educated in this world and even new generation
are more qualified and have lot of knowledge of
worldly affairs. But we will be considered real
qualified and educated, when we will be able to
understand the Quran properly. Please avoid
whisper of shaitan telling yourself, yes I know
Quran and I read Tafsir and I know everything,
Masha Allah I have read complete translation
and Tafsir. Reading and completing books,
doesnt mean Allah has opened the heart with
His light. There will be no light in the heart,
when there is no pure intention and sincerity.

19

Many people love reading books, some even

same book several times. Their houses are filled
with books on shelves unimportant books, with
stories, jokes, movies, written by unknown
people, yet people love to read it and spend so
much time reading it with routine every day. A
student spends atleast 12 years in school,
studying the school material, well its parents
responsibility to develop love in the heart for
Quran. Also while studying in school or college,
students collect books from other sources, long
novels, stories, jokes, etc. Also when the
assignments are provided by the teacher, the
students spend extra time on researching and
studying other material outside source.
Think, after all studying worldly material, when
we will return to Allah and standing before
Him, He will ask, O My slave you read the
books of the world, why you didnt read My
book, who created you, who gave you worldly
sources to use free without paying, who
sustained you, all I asked you to worship me and

20

follow the guidance from My book, but you

came back to with empty handed. What answer
we will gave to Allah, O Allah, I was so busy in
school studying, O Allah I was busy in job, O
Allah I spent my time with my friends, O Allah
I spent time on internet, YouTube, Facebook? Is
that acceptable, think if Allah would stop our
breath for 1-2 minutes? You know what the first
thing we will do, do Wudhu and run to Allah for
forgiveness. Think how merciful is He that he
allow us to do anything in this world with free
Will.
Quran 18:29

...

Say "The Truth is from your Lord": let him who
will, believe, and let him who will, reject (it):
If we have time to read the worldly books,
surely we have the time for Quran also, its only
shaitan, who doesnt want a person to read the

21

Quran and make him forget, or make him busy

in other matters. We have to fight our own
selves and dedicate more and more time for
Quran, not just quick read and thats it.
We dont want to return to Allah with empty
handed, and we dont want to die in a dark.
Allah has send Quran to us to get light of
guidance, and thats only will help us on
judgment day and nothing else. We spend time
in getting degree, to get better job, better
position, start business, get success, become
doctor, engineer, scientist. We dont realize,
after dying, these degrees or positions will be
left back in the world. But what will help us, is a
light of guidance, and what are we taking with
us standing before Allah.
After getting degree or position of business, we
think that we are successful. But this is not
completed until we fulfill our duty towards
Allah. Our knowledge is zero, until we learn and
study from Quran and understand it, what Allah
wants from us actually?

22

Do not obey your Nafs, we must have curiosity

to learn about the words of Allah. We must have
time, and we should dedicate our time for our
Creator to spend time reciting Quran. We have
to have curiosity to know what does Allah wants
to say in Quran, and what He wants from us,
and what is this Quran all about.
The problem is, majority with different
languages, they learned Quran in childhood by
their teachers of parents, and some memorize it
without understanding. They kept repeating
same, whole life, without even spending time in
getting knowledge of each word in the Quran.
First they have to spend time to learn Arabic,
they should have thirst of learning Arabic,
because the last message of Allah is in Arabic.
If we understand Arabic properly, then we will
be able to understand correct meaning of the
Quran. It is more enjoying reading in Arabic,
than reading translations.
The verses, in the beginning of surah Mulk, tell
us, the purpose of life.

23

Quran 67:1-2

)(

)(
Blessed be He in Whose hands is Dominion:
and He over all things Hath Power (1) He
Who created Death and Life, that He may try
which of you is best in deed: and He is the
Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving (2)
Allah the Exalted glorifies His Noble Self and
informs that the dominion is in His Hand. This
means that He deals with all of His creatures
however He wishes and there is none who can
reverse His decree. He is not questioned
concerning what He does because of His force,
His wisdom and His justice and He is Able to do
all things. Because we understand He is the
Only Creator, and we also understand, He
control everything whatever exist and Only
Allah knows, what is out there also, that not an
eyes or scientist or any telescope has reached

24

that point, but Only Allah knows. It is beyond

our thoughts and beyond our imagination.
Hadith
The Prophet (pbuh) said: The universe
compared to Allahs kursi (footrest) is like a
ring in a desert. And Allahs kursi compared to
His ursh (throne) is like a ring in a desert.
We see the presidents, and leaders and army
leaders on the higher position to control others.
But there is Allah above All of His creation,
controlling entire universe and more than we
can think. Think of species of the world, sea and
water, air, seen and unseen species around the
universe.
Lets first look at the human beings,
The world population is the total number of
living humans on Earth. As of today, it is
estimated to number 7.139 billion by the United
States Census Bureau (USCB). The USCB

25

estimates that the world population exceeded 7

billion on March 12, 2012.
If we look around, we will never be able to find
2 human beings, with one exact face, brain, or
soul. It is such a miracle by Allah that he never
created one soul in two bodies, but with
different nature, different, behavior, different
actions.
Quran 55

)(

Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye
deny? (13)
Mammal species, in 2008 the IUCN completed
a five-year, 1,700-scientist Global Mammal
Assessment for its IUCN Red List, which
counted 5,488 accepted species at the end of
that period.

26

Most insects have never been given scientific

names. It is estimated that there are 20-30
million species of insects on the earth at present.
Avibase is an extensive database information
system about all birds of the world, containing
over 9 million records about 10,000 species and
22,000 subspecies of birds, including
distribution information, taxonomy, synonyms
in several languages and more.
Let us think about the sea world, beyond
imagination, the types of creations are in the
sea. Let us look at our galaxy and our galaxy,
we are living is a small part of a one planet.
How far an eye or telescope can go far? But
only Allah knows how many galaxies are there
and a human being will never be able to reach
on other galaxies.
If we look at an earth from other galaxy, it may,
wont even look like 1 point of sand. Sea is
about 75% of the earth, if we think about the
creations inside, it is beyond our thinking. Some

27

creations deep in the sea, are unexpected

creations and have lives, a human will not
recognize it until it makes some movement.
Also some parts of the world, the sea is too deep
to even reach that end of point.
The most powerful that Allah created is, sun, let
us read and imagine the power of sun.
The sun is the closest star to Earth, at a mean
distance from our planet of 149.60 million
kilometers (92.96 million miles). At the core,
the temperature is about 15 million degrees
Celsius (about 27 million degrees Fahrenheit),
which is sufficient to sustain thermonuclear
fusion. The energy produced in the core powers
the sun and produces essentially all the heat and
light we receive on Earth. Energy from the core
is carried outward by radiation, which bounces
around the radiative zone, taking about 170,000
years to get from the core to the convective
zone. The temperature drops below 2 million
degrees Celsius (3.5 million degrees Fahrenheit)
in the convective zone, where large bubbles of

28

hot plasma (a soup of ionized atoms) move

upwards.
The temperature of the photosphere is about
5,500 degrees Celsius (10,000 degrees
Fahrenheit). Above the photosphere lie the
tenuous chromosphere and the corona (crown).
Visible light from these top regions is usually
too weak to be seen against the brighter
photosphere, but during total solar eclipses,
when the Moon covers the photosphere, the
chromosphere can be seen as a red rim around
the sun while the corona forms a beautiful white
crown with plasma streaming outward, forming
the points of the crown.
This is about 109 times the diameter of Earth.
The Sun weighs about 333,000 times as much as
Earth. It is so large that about 1,300,000 planet
Earths can fit inside of it. Earth is about the size
of an average sunspot

29

Imagine, if Allah command the sun to move a

bit towards the earth, what will happen, and who
can save us except Allah.
Quran 21:33

)(
And He it is Who created the night and the day,
and the sun and the moon. They float, each in an
orbit. (33)
Quran 36:38-40

) (
) (

)(

And the Sun runs his course for a period
determined for him: that is the decree of (Him)
the Exalted in Might, the All-Knowing. (38)
And the Moon We have measured for it

30

mansions (to traverse) till it returns like the old

(and withered) lower part of date-stalk. (39) It is
not permitted to the Sun to catch up the Moon,
nor can the Night outstrip the Day: each (just)
swims along in (its own) orbit (according to
Law). (40)
The scientists are discovery few years back, but
Allah has already notified us about the
astronomy. Now ask a question yourself, who
created these billions and billions creations in
one galaxy and in other galaxies. It is Only
Allah who created everything.
Quran 67:1

)(
Blessed be He in Whose hands is Dominion:
and He over all things Hath Power (1)
If there is a king of some country, his power is
limited, setting up the system and providing
some rules and regulations. But he cannot
exceed his limits and cannot control everything.

31

But Allah is the only One who has control over

everything. Either its living or non-living,
humans, birds, clouds, rain, angels, jinns,
animals etc.
Quran 67:2

...

He Who created Death and Life...
Those who say that death is an existing creation
use this Ayah as a proof because it is something
that has been created. This Ayah means that He
brought creation into existence from nothing in
order to test the creatures. He examines them to
see which of them will be best in deeds. NO one
has the right to give or take life except Allah.
Quran 10:107

)(

32

If Allah do touch thee with hurt, there is none

can remove it but He: if He do design some
benefit for thee, there is none can keep back His
favour: He causeth it to reach whomsoever of
His servants He pleaseth. And He is the OftForgiving, Most Merciful. (107)
Quran 2:258

...

...
Abraham said: "My Lord is He Who giveth life
and death."
If it is a time of a person to die, no one can save
him even gathering medical systems to give him
life. If Allah wants to take a soul, one can stop
the soul to fly off to Allah. And if doesnt want
to enter the soul in the body, entire universe can
get together yet, will be unable to control the
soul except Allah. It is He who takes and gives a
life.
Now the question is why did He gave us a life?

33

Quran 67:2

...
...

... that He may try which of you is best in deed...

He created us to test us, who are best among us
who love him and accept Him as creator and
obey him and follow His commandments and
who is among us will do best deeds to please
Him.
Quran 51:56

)(

I have only created jinns and men, that they may
serve Me. (56)
Similar to above verse, Allah said I created
humans and Jinns to worship me, obey me and
follow my commandments. This is the test for
all of us, who are more into good deeds and do
everything that please him, and stop what
displease him. So when we will return back to

34

Him, our account will be opened to decide,

either we won of loose, and what side of the
scale is heavier and which is less in weight. We
should realize, what we will take with us going
back to Allah, will it had good deeds or bad
deeds.
Quran 17:14

)(
(It will be said to him:) "Read thine (own)
record: sufficient is thy soul this day to make
out an account against thee." (14)
Many things to understand here, the scale of
good deeds and bad deeds, we have to make
sure we do more good deeds and decrease or
finish bad deeds. Because if one good deed is
accepted by Allah, He may wipe our sins and
grant us Jannah similar one major sin can wipe
out our good deeds also. So we dont know yet
until we meet Allah and He will show our book
of deeds. Sometimes gathering minor sins, when

35

putting together it becomes heavier equal to

major sin and still a person becomes among the
losers.
Hadith
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (pbuh)
as saying: Verily Allah does not look to your
faces and your wealth but He looks to your heart
and to your deeds. (Muslim 6221)
He looks inside your heart, if the deeds was
done with pure intention and sincerity or was it
done with other intentions, either to get
popularity from the world or to show off or was
it done for the sake of Allah and expecting
reward from Him.
We should realize and we belief that there are
angels (Kiraman Katibin) sitting right and left,
writing good and bad actions, each moment,
even our intensions before we act on it.
Quran 50:16-18

36

) (
) (

)(
It was We who created man, and We know what
dark suggestions his soul makes to him: for We
are nearer to him than (his) jugular vein. (16)
Behold two (guardian angels) appointed to learn
(his doings) learn (and note them), one sitting
on the right and one on the left. (17) Not a word
does he utter but there is a sentinel by him,
ready (to note it). (18)
And also similarly
Quran 82:10-19

)(
But verily over you (are appointed angels) to
protect you (10) Kind and honourable

(and understand) all that ye do. (12) As for the
Righteous, they will be in Bliss; (13) And the
Wicked they will be in the Fire, (14) Which
they will enter on the Day of Judgment. (15)
And they will not be Able to keep away
therefrom. (16) And what will explain to thee
what the Day of Judgment is? (17) Again what
will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment
is? (18) (It will be) the Day when no soul shall
have power (to do) aught for another: for the
Command, that Day, will be (wholly) with
Allah. (19)
We believe on the angels, writing our acts and
videos of our acts, either its day or night in
public or alone, of eyes, hands, tongue and it
will be presented on the judgment day and we

38

will be unable to refuse our actions and

intentions.
We can hide from our parents, colleagues,
friends, classmates or anyone, we can do bad
actions alone, where there is no eye is watching
us, but we can never be able to hide from Allah.
And a person can never escape until he pay the
price of a sin or get reward for his good deeds.
It is similar to student, the teacher gave him
entire year to study and get ready for finals.
They teacher doesnt beat him every day or
force him every day, but yes he remind him
again and again that there will be final day.
If he studied well, he will pass the exam, but if
he just playing around, wasting time in useless
things whole year, he will surely be failed the
finals. The teacher will say, I use to remind you
always to study for finals, but you never paid
attention to my instructions. Similarly, Allah
sends Quran, to remind us again and again of
the judgment day. Now it is our duty to obey

39

and follow the guidance of Allah. Even anyone

who didnt opened the book whole year and still
fail the finals. Similarly, if all the Muslims
know that Allah has given us Quran to study,
and we dont study, what will happen on
judgment day?
Should we blame Allah or ourselves, is there
any excuse to escape from judgment day? We
are very caution living in the country and its
rules. Example, in the country law, it said, if
you kill someone, you will hang to death. So
you are aware of the punishment, if you kill
anyone. But we have no fear of Allah who is the
Creator of many galaxies, we are not afraid of
His punishment. But surely we will know one
day. Think before committing even small tiny
sin, still it is recorded in your deeds, and yes
you have to pay for it. Strange I have seen
people who are true lovers of Allah call
themselves sinners and cry to Allah for
forgiveness, and some who pray five times and
do everything forbidden yet they are happy they

40

are good Muslims. Its a shaitan whisper that

made them like that and shaitan wants them to
be like that with misconception.
Whatever we are earning today, surely we will
get back on judgment day. Any good or bad is
done in this world is not wasted, either it will be
given back as reward or it will be as
punishment, only Allah knows.
Quran 99:7-8

) (

)(
Then shall anyone who has done an atom's
weight of good, see it! (7) And anyone who has
done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. (8)
Quran 69:18

)(
That Day shall ye be brought to Judgment: not
an act of yours that ye hide will be hidden. (18)

41

What should be done in order to stand before

Allah expecting mercy from him, is to worry
about our deeds, actions to make sure you are
nothing doing anything that displease Allah and
make our life according to Quran as much as we
can and then we can expect Shifaat from the
Prophet and expect mercy from Allah?
Allah will punish more those people, who are
aware of the punishment and yet doing it
compare to those who are not aware and
unknowingly doing sin.
When a person wakes up in the morning,
depending on age, first thing they do is, pick up
newspaper and start discussing about politics,
and cursing and talking against politicians. One
must ask them a question, what exactly are you
doing at this time, cursing and talking against
others, just based on newspapers and media,
people sitting and discussing about news and
media wasting time hours and hours. Also have
habit of talking about others, backbiting,
wasting time in useless topics and discussions,

42

has not end. Especially people sitting in outside

on chair on street, barber shops, restaurants, in
gatherings, we will be able to see these
situations of people sitting and discussing on
useless topics. What are they earning for hours,
nothing but a sin in the book of deeds. But
people, knows that they should not waste of
time in useless matters, they look for something
that has first priority that can benefit in
Aakhirah. Every person should think, what is he
saving or collecting that will benefit on
judgment day.
Quran 59:18

)(
O ye who believe! Fear Allah and let every soul
look to what (provision) he has sent forth for the
morrow. Yea, fear Allah: for Allah is wellacquainted with (all) that ye do. (18)

43

A person can be a good human being, if he pays

attention to himself rather than getting curious
about others affairs. Each individual, either,
leader, politician, scholar, imam, student,
businessman etc. and anyone who pay attention
to his own deeds then surely he will start
changing himself. Nothing can save a person on
judgment day and that is everyones final
destination.
Quran 75:10

)(

That Day will Man say "Where is the refuge?"
(10)
On the judgment, we will be unable to escape
anywhere until we have to show up in the court
of Allah. We have to see what we have done in
this world either there were good deeds or bad
deeds and we have to face the trial. Based on the
deeds, either we will be granted Jannah or we
will be sentence to punishment.

44

A father will run from his son and a son will run
from his father. A mother will throw her baby
away, saving her own life.
Quran 31:33

)(
O mankind! Do your duty to your Lord and fear
(the coming of) a Day when no father can avail
aught for his son nor a son, avail aught for his
father. Verily, the promise of Allah is true: let
not then this present life deceive you, nor let the
Chief deceiver deceive you about Allah. (33)
What happens in a world, when a fathers
kidney is failed, a son give his kidney and other
parts of the body. Similarly when a friend is in
need, we are able to help them as much we can,
either financially or supporting him. And Masha

45

Allah Muslims sacrifice for each other in the

world to help each other in needs.
But on the judgment day, everyone will be
trying to save himself, and no one will give his
deeds to other even to father or mother or
brother or sister. People will be running around
to find if anyone wants to give his one deed to
save him from Hell fire, but no one will help in
the matter of giving deeds to each other to save
others.
Quran 80:34-37

)( ) (
) (

)(
That Day shall a man flee from his own brother.
(34) And from his mother and his father. (35)
And from his wife and his children. (36) Each
one of them, that Day, will have enough concern
(of his own) to make him indifferent to the
others. (37)

46

The best love to be found on earth is a mother

and a child, but on that day, mother or child will
not care about each other, rather saving their
own deeds to go Jannah and save from Hellfire.
Nor the gold, silver or money will help,
example, imagine Bill Gate of Microsoft
industry come to Allah, asking Allah to save
me, I was the richest person on the earth so take
everything I have, but with no Aqeedah, and on
the other side a poor person standing before
Allah with no money but lived life on street and
still thanked Allah and died in patience. Who
will Allah accept? The person with money who
lived luxury life with no connection with Allah,
or a person who had no money, but still thanked
Allah always and died in patience. Ofcourse a
person on street who had nothing, but he loved
Allah.
Since Allah has given us a beautiful life, we
have to use in a productive way, rather wasting
around. The time is keep running, no one is
unable to stop or pause the time. But we have to

47

go along with the time and take benefit of each

moment and take benefit of each moment that
will help us on judgment day.
The problem is majority are in misconception of
that they are living normal life and we are
fulfilling our duty. A person sitting in doing
Ibaadah in masjid, thinks, he is on right track
and doing Ibaadah for Allah. A person have
store in the market selling his good, thinks, he is
doing his duty fulfilling requirements of the
community. Doctor thinks, I am right, I am
helping patients and saving lives and helping
and serving the humanity. Since everyone is on
right track, how would we decide who will enter
Jannah and Hellfire? Who will analyze and
decide their deeds and how would someone
understand who is better in the eyes of Allah,
because everyone is doing their duty and busy in
their responsibilities.
We cannot decide anyone by our logic and by
looking at their livings, no matter how much
Allah gave brain to use, but cannot exceed the

48

limit. We might be able to figure out by roughly

ideas about other humans. The decision on
judgment day will be based on the
commandments of Allah given in the Quran that
how a person can be saved.
Yet an eye can be deceived by looking at
something which is not true and nothing but a
deception to eyes. How would we realize what
Allah likes, Allah gives all answers in the
Quran. A good deed is that is accepted by Allah
done purely for Allah only and with sincerity
without doubt, expecting reward from Allah
alone and not from the others.
If a person spends whole night in Tahajjud, with
other intentions, showing to people that he is
very pious and do too much Ibaadah, or to show
mark on forehead of prostrating, this kind of
deed is simply rejected. He had intention that is
shirk and to show others is shirk and make
himself better to others eyes, is shirk. He made
intention for others but not for Allah. A person
has to make pure intention to please Allah and

49

no one else either praying in alone of in

gathering. Allah will ask a person on judgment
day, was that Ibaadah for me or to show people
that you are such a pious person, to become
popular and get praises for you. He will be
dragged to hell in the sin of shirk. Similar to any
deed with intention, other than Allah, is rejected
and he will among the losers on judgment day,
because it is Riyaa that a person does not
recognize it.
Also if a person, serving people, doing
community service, distributing food, clothing
and medical and he is always running around to
help others in need, doing too many Sadaqah
and charity, but with intention, so that people
call him a good person, and that he spends too
much in Sadaqah. His all struggle will be
rejected and thrown in hell. He has made
intention for himself to be known by others and
become popular in community, not for Allah
alone.

50

So what is better deed that will be accepted by

Allah? It has two conditions; first it has to be
according to Sunnah of the Prophet (pbuh),
starts from Ibaadah. If a person gets lazy, but he
is not, but he prefer to just sit where ever he is
and can just pray Salah, even after the sources
are available to the Ibaadah properly according
to Sunnah. Some have misconception that, Allah
just looks at a heart not the practical, so its fine
ill just make Salah like that would be accepted?
Who told him that it is accepted? It is own logic
from inside Nafs, house of shaitan. But he has to
learn about the proper way of praying learning
from the life of the Prophet. If we learn from the
hadith of the Prophet (pbuh), we come to know
that the first question will be about Salah
according to Quran and Sunnah an then the
prophet also said in hadith.
Hadith
"..Pray as you have seen me praying and
when it is the time for the prayer one of you

51

should pronounce the Adhan and the oldest of

you should lead the prayer.
(Bukhari, Bk 11, 604)
Means the Prophet has instructed us on, how to
perform Salah according him step by step and
cannot be performed in any other way. If a
person performing Salah by sitting or doing
some act of worship, not according to Sunnah,
will not be accepted. That would be like
modifying the religion. Similarly, not like,
doing Wudhu in heart and performing Salah in
heart, is not accepted.
Lets talk about Fasting, a person thinks, I want
to diet and lets start Fasting so he will get
reward and beside he will lose weight. It is
unaccepted, because he made intention to lose
the weight not for the sake of Allah and not
followed the Sunnah.
Similarly, a person performs Hajj according to
whenever he wants to travel to Makkah but not

52

in Dhul Hajj is not accepted. Allah has

commanded and Sunnah of the prophet is to
perform Hajj in the proper time and in proper
way. Also some people may travel to Makkah
for tour or business and at the same time he
would think to visit Kabah also to perform
Umrah or Hajj, is not accepted.
The whole explanation was given to prove
what? That any good deeds should start with
pure intention to please Allah and nothing else.
Example if a person helps a needy person,
ofcourse it is good deed to help any poor in
need, or if he is a Doctor and helped patient, or
any profession you have, if you are helping
someone without compensation, but the
intention was made or not Allah, is not
accepted. Any professional a person has, he
should make intention and pray to Allah to use
his profession to help others in need, without
expecting praises from people, popularity or
wealth or any other benefits.

53

When Adam was created, and Allah said to

Angels, I will create a human. The Angels asked
Allah, why you want to create a human, because
we praise you and we do Ibaadah and a human
will spread mischief and bleed shed on earth.
When Allah created Adam, Allah brought some
objects before Adam and Angels. Allah asked
Angels to speak the names of the objects. But
they replied, we do not know and only You have
the knowledge of everything. Then Allah asked
Adam to speak the names of the objects. Adam
did speak the names of the objects was
presented by Allah. Then Allah commanded
Angels to prostrate Adam. What was the
prostration based on, that Angels was
commanded to prostrate Adam, it was
knowledge. It was the knowledge if the universe
and different things inside the universe and
names of the things on the earth.
So if a person getting education from school and
college and get degree and then perform his
duty with intention to please Allah, for serving

54

and spreading knowledge to others, it becomes

Ibaadah.
Now the point to understand here is, Adam
received praise towards Angels based on the
knowledge of objects in the universe. But Adam
was failed and deceived by cunning words of
Iblees by which Adam and Hawwa was thrown
out of Jannah.
What we must realize here, no matter what big
degree we have of worldly education, is not
sufficient to fight shaitan. So in order to be
saved from shaitan, we need the knowledge of
Hidaaya and that is Hidaaya from the Quran.
The worldly educated helped us in the world.
We have to prepare for the eternal life, which
will be based on the Hidaaya from Quran, so
whoever gets Hidaaya from the Quran will be
saved and he will be saved from shaitan living
in the world.
The prophet (pbuh) use to supplicate,

55

O Allah, I ask You for knowledge which is

beneficial and sustenance which is good, and
deeds which are acceptable.
(Muslim)
It is obligatory upon us to have education for
both, for this world but more important is the
education that will help us from judgment day
and that is, knowledge from Quran.
We have a dedicate our self, giving time in
reciting and more time in understanding,
contacting different scholars and understanding
thru Tafsir so we can understand the true Divine
language and His message that will save us from
shaitan, in this world and that will help us get
reward judgment day. We can even start from
little and then day by day, Allah will build
interest in heart to recite more and more, that
will open our heart with guidance and that will
help in changing of our life according to
Sunnah.

56

Now we have internet, media, mp3, Quran in

PDFs. So what is so hard to study about Quran
and understand more and even nowadays we do
not have to carry the complete books, cassettes,
audios, or bag, everything is just download into
mobile phone or tablet that carry all materials
that we need. But we need time for it and
dedicate our time as much we can.
Allah said several times in the Quran,
Quran 54:40

)(
And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to
understand and remember: then is there any that
will receive admonition? (40)
Several scholars belongs to particular sect of
Islam, spread the false rumors about Quran, that
it cannot be understand by anyone, and
everyone needs to get education from imam.
Nor the Quran or the prophet ever said

57

anywhere to understand Quran from imam

instead Quran is a blessing for entire world.
So who ever made intention and determination
to adhere himself with the Quran, surely Allah
will open his way to understand more and as he
will be reciting more and more, it will become
easy for him to understand the Divine language.
Among all the education materials of the world,
Quran is not most easy and complete guidance
from Allah to human kind to get light from its
teachings. So everyone should understand, the
only that will help us on judgment day is,
following the guidance of Quran.
We have two endings, one in this world and
second on the judgment day from final decision,
either we will be enter to Paradise or we will be
entered to punishment for eternal life. So that
will be asked from us on judgment day that we
have to prepare for, in this world.

58

In order to prepare our self for judgment day,

we have to think about making good intention of
good deeds so we can collect as much as before
our end in this world. The activities we are
currently doing, our job, business, or any
activities, should be done with good intention
that will please Allah. Before it was done as
regular, but now we can make good intention to
do for the sake of Allah, so it will become
Ibaadah.
If you are a student, make an intention, when
the education will complete, we will use it to
help others and do our duty, with intention that
will please Allah. Any job or business or job
you are doing make intention that you will help
others and please Allah, it will become Ibaadah.
Example, if you are a student and at a stage,
Allah gave you good knowledge, think for a
moment of children on streets have no facilities
to study or source of education. They have no
money for food or education. Think giving some
time to children on streets to educate them, so

59

may Allah give them good life with your hands

educating them, its great reward. It is so sad,
majority have been seen, drive thru walking thru
children like that, but no one have mercy or pity
on the children to take care of them, that by
educating them teaching them, it could become
your way to Jannah. We have sources,
computers, classrooms, ACs, fans, books,
teachers, backboard etc. Look at them, they
have nothing, we are worried about our
education to graduate and get degree and get job
or business and move on, strange never even
came up in mind to worry about them or do
something about them.
If we remember the story of Badr, the Prophet
(pbuh) made agreement with the captives, He
(pbuh) asked them if they will educate our
illiterate children, He (pbuh) will forgive them
(or free them).
We will asked about our education, did we use
this education for job, business, position and we
never thought about the children have no

60

resources to get education. Think, if each

person, no matter how much you have
education, use it for those at least not all
children but use it as much you can to make it
Sadaqah Jaariya.
So now we go back to the main topic about the
main topic,
Quran 67:01

best in deed
So making your education or any deed that is
accepted by Allah and become Sadaqah Jaariya
is a best in deed.
Many think, that you have to leave the world
tasks aside and just totally spend time for Allah.
Allah didnt ask that for, instead to keep balance
in everything. But the education or job or
business you are involved in use it also in way
that will help on judgment day, with making

61

intention and use it to help others. Also beside

getting education, getting job, business or
position, we have to have skills and use that
skills to forward your skills so that find income
source because of your teachings.
Look at the example of Prophet Aisha (ra), she
didnt have children, but she educated children,
men and community and spread the knowledge
of Islam. In Hadith literature, more than 2,210
narrations are attributed to Ayesha. She played
very important role, Allah used her spreading
knowledge of Islam. Also she use to resolves
issues of Fiqh and issue Fatawas. She played
great role providing great treasure of
knowledge. According to several Sahabas, they
listened to the sermons of Abu Bakr (ra) and
Umr (ra) several times, but the quality of
sermon preached by Aisha (ra) had, no one else
had it, it was due to knowledge transferred from
the Prophet to Aisha (ra) to teach others.

62

Think about, what you can do, that, others can

benefit from you, and it will benefit you on the
judgment day.
Do any deeds with intention to please Allah
alone, and with sincerity and not expecting any
benefit from others in this world but expect
reward from Allah in this world and hereafter.
So this is our test according to the verse, Allah
want to test us, that who is among us that will
do good deeds, with intentions to please Allah
and with sincerity without expecting reward or
benefit from others in this world, but to expect
reward from Allah in this world and Hereafter.
So everyone, including me, are under test of
Allah. The reason Allah wants to test us is, He
created us with brain to use, and either we use
this brain to obey shaitan (Nafs) or guidance of
Allah in Quran. Allah gave us sense of humor,
eyes, ears and tongue to use to understand. So
after all that, He has the right to us on judgment,
how did we lived our life according to?

63

So every day and every moment we have to

keep in mind to use it in worth things that will
benefit us and every end of the day we have to
check our account of whole day, that what we
did whole day for Allah. So everyone has to
check themselves, what are they saving for
judgment day that would help to save from
Hellfire.
Example if you arrive home and very angry
mood, and anyone at home ask you to, please do
this for me. So now you have two options, either
you will shout back or you will simply calm
yourself down and just simply do it, thinking
about that you are doing it for the sake of Allah,
it becomes Ibaadah. But if you would have
shout back, you get sin plus you made others
angry and made everyones mood off just
because of your one action.
Doing things at home, helping others, could
become the way to Jannah, by helping others at
home serving and feeding. Feeding or serving
food is Ibaadah According to hadith

64

Narrated by Abdullah bin Salam said, first

things I heard from the prophet (pbuh) came to
Madinah was,
The first words I heard him say were: 'O
people! Spread peace...Share food...Pray during
the night while people sleep... and you will enter
Paradise in peace...
And he said, he cant be imposter and thats
brought love for the Prophet (pbuh) in his heart
and later he accepted Islam.
So in the sermon, Prophet (pbuh) mentioned to
feed others, spreading Salaam, created a
brotherhood atmosphere and unity. Make
yourself use to, by saying Salaam to everyone,
this shows sign of humbleness. Naturally,
person shows humbleness to others, becomes
beloved to everyone. A person, who loves
himself, is not liked by anyone, and he left alone
in this selfish attitude and also he is not liked by
Allah and he will become loser in this world and
Hereafter.

65

We can start from our own homes, waking up in

the morning and saying Salaam to everyone,
regardless of age difference, that creates a
beautiful atmosphere and love and unity in the
family and Allah send blessings to such a house.
So create good happiness environment, with that
when a person goes to work or school or
business, he stay smiling and happy. Now think
about woke up and saying no Salaam and
smiling to others, shouting each other and
disrespect, and then we go to work, we destroy
others mood also. If a person has beautiful life
at home, he will be able to give others beautiful
manners also.
The knowledge you are getting so use it to serve
others who doesnt have sources. On judgment
day, whatever seed you will sow in this world,
you will get huge reward on judgment day,
when there will be tall plants grown from these
seeds, sending reward to you and that will help
you saved from Hellfire and sent to Jannah for
eternal life.

66

When you ever you do good deeds, ask from

Allah, O Allah, I was nothing, it is only You
who have given me opportunity to do this good
deed that I didnt even deserve to do it and ask
from Allah to accept it. Clean your heart from
bad intention, from getting benefit from anyone
or expecting reward. Make yourself busy in
praising Allah remembering His blessings;
make yourself busy in doing Dhikr of Allah.
Think about doing good deeds always that
pleases Allah.
So whenever we leave this world, we want
people to remember us with good memories,
never hurt anyones feeling especially, the most
dangerous is, tongue.
May Allah accept our good deeds, Ameen.
And Allah knows Best

Conclusion
The Purpose Of Life In The Light Of Surah
Mulk. What is so important about this Surah
that the prophet has given glad tidings that a
human being will be saved from the punishment
of grave, whoever recite it every night. This
booklet has detailed information along with
translation and Tafsir and more understanding
of the verses of Surah Mulk. The booklet talks
about the concept of good deeds according to
Surah Mulk. Allah said in two first verses,
Blessed be He in Whose hands is Dominion:
and He over all things Hath Power (1) He
Who created Death and Life, that He may try
which of you is best in deed: and He is the
Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving (2).
May Allah give us understanding of Quran and
increase our knowledge of Allahs Deen Islam.
May Allah remove our problems and worries
and send His blessings.
