Preparation of Model for pump sizing
To perform the given experiment we need to draw the model, assign the given properties and
run the model on AFT software. The system is drawn on the WORKSPACE Window of AFT, as
shown below. It is simple to draw the system, by just selecting the component and drag & drop
action.

The OUTPUT Window shows the head generated by the pump, NPSH available in the system,
velocity and pressure at every point in the system; and a lot of other properties can be
calculated by customizing the OUTPUT Window as per the requirement.
