Have you ever prayed about something then began to doubt you would get the

outcome you prayed for.

Well if so be assured faith and doubt will not mix well. No doubt your doubt it stems
from not knowing the New Covenant or what it means. In the New covenant all the
promises of God were meant for you. Either you do not know what those are or you
do not see understand that the Promise was a gift. And all the promises are like
branches on the promise. And because of this you do not feel you deserve the
promises of God.
You can usually find an excuse in your mind why your prayers have not been
answered. It may go something like this. Well I did lose my cool today. Or like this I
just am not worthy enough yet. I will do better and then God will answer.
The problem isnt what you have done, its what and how you believe. You cannot
mix law and grace. Law always screams dos and donts is the answer. It always
point to your good works or lack thereof.
Grace points to what Jesus did and is doing.
You were once bound by the law. But when you believed in Jesus you died with him
on the cross and then he raised you. You became married to Christ. The marriage
with the law was over. To try and keep any part of the law now is adultery. Yes
adultery! Listen to the words of Paul Romans 7-1-6 Dont you realize, brothersfor I
am speaking to people who know the Lawthat the Law can press its claims over a
person only as long as he is alive? 2 For a married woman is bound by the Law to
her husband while he is living, but if her husband dies, she is released from the Law
concerning her husband. 3 So while her husband is living, she will be called an
adulterer if she lives with another man. But if her husband dies, she is free from this
Law, so that she is not an adulterer if she marries another man.
4 In the same way, my brothers, through the Messiahs body you also died as far as
the Law is concerned, so that you may belong to another person, the one who was
raised from the dead, and may bear fruit for God. 5 For while we were living
according to our human nature sinful passions were at work in our bodies by means
of the Law, to bear fruit resulting in death. 6 But now we have been released from
the Law by dying to what enslaved us, so that we may serve in the new life of the
Spirit, not under the old writings. The Law speaks to those who are dead spiritually
(those who never have come to Jesus). This is the purpose of the Law.
Again Paul explains in Galatians 3:19-25
The Purpose of the Law
19 Why, then, was the Law added? Because of transgressions, until the descendant
came about whom the promise pertained. It was put into effect through angels by
means of a mediator. 20 Now a mediator involves more than one party, but God is

one. 21 So is the Law in conflict with the promises of God? Of course not! For if a
law had been given that could give us life, then certainly righteousness would come
through the Law. 22 But the Scripture has captured everything by means of sins
net, so that what was promised by the faithfulness of the Messiah might be granted
to those who believe. 23 Now before faith came about, we were held in custody and
confined under the Law in preparation for the faith that was to be revealed. 24 And
so the Law was our guardian until the Messiah came, so that we might be justified
by faith. 25 But now that faith has come about, we are no longer under a guardian.
So you see if the Law is not used for whom and why it was meant it comes in
conflict with the promises. And you who believe are referred to as Children of
Promise. Not children of the law. Live as the children you are and the promises will
suddenly jump into your lives.
