EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE

MATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF COUNTY PLANNERS
Teleconference call on February 11, 2015

1. Call to Order
Chair Brown convened the meeting at 4:45 p.m. (Eastern Time).
2. Roll Call
Members present were Tim Brown, Megan Nelms, Mike Harper, Royce Maniko,
David Heinold, Robert Hill and NACo Liaison Jennifer Horton. The remaining
members were excused. A quorum was confirmed.
3. Approval of December 17, 2014 Teleconference Summary
Robert Hill moved to approve the minutes as presented. Royce Maniko
seconded the motion, and the minutes were approved unanimously.
4. Finance Report
Mike Harper reported the current balance in the checking account is $1,786.13.
For the year, our expenses are $746.30 and our revenue is $525.00. All of the
expenses have been verified. We were re-registered with the Nevada Secretary
of State for 2015. If we receive no more revenue, we will end the year with a
positive balance. We probably have one more web maintenance cost, and
should have an ending balance of about $1,000. This excludes the ERSI
sponsorship, if received. We also need to start renewals and plan on sending
them out in March. By sending them out then, it will help organizations get the
membership costs into their budgets. Mike will provide the list of people to
contact for renewals.
There was also discussion about using time at the annual meeting to find
someone interested in being our Membership Coordinator. Mike is going to send
out the initial renewals, but it is not really the job of the Treasurer and we
need to find someone committed to the position.
5. Update on NACO Legislative Conference
The NACO legislative conference is next week in Washington, D.C. and Dennis
will be there. The annual conference is in North Carolina, July 10-13.
Hopefully Tim will be able to join Dennis there and then we can send in our
affiliate name and get him on the Board of Directors.
6. Schedule the Next Executive Committee Meeting Date and Time
The next meeting is scheduled for April 8th, immediately following the County
Planning Divisions Executive Committees teleconference.
7. Adjournment

Royce moved to adjourn the meeting. Robert Hill seconded the motion and the
meeting was adjourned.
