A way to
make creating
a poll more
interesting
and creative
for the kids.
Have the
students
come up with
questions and
then take a
class vote on
which poll
they should
send out. This
gives
students
more creative
ability.

Create a poll,
have students
respond using
text messaging.
Have students
comprehend
the statistical
data, and if they
do not
understand
what is being
asked. Do not
give answer. Let
them get to it
themselves by
rewording
questions or
working
backwards.
Recognizing
shapes outside
of the
classroom in
everyday life,
take pictures
with their
phones and
then compare
them to
geometric
shapes within
the classroom.

The teacher
must be aware
and understand
the kind of
responses that
he/she might
receive when
making a
classroom wide
poll. They must
give students
the correct
instruction to be
sure that they
do not run into
issues.

Reading

Letting the
students
understand
Shakespeare
will help you
create class
discussions
off of what
the students
have
summarized
in a 140

textmessag
e.

Having the
students read
Shakespeare
and then text
each other
within groups
to have a
discussion of
what they
read, and how
they
interpreted it.
DI will help to
make sure that
the students
are paired
among
students of
same reading
level, and that
it is okay with
parents to text
one another
while
discussing
book topics.
If students are
struggling to
come up with a
story using the
last 15 text
messages that
were received,
do not tell them
how they should
put them
together. Have
them write each
one on separate
piece of paper
and randomly
pick ones then
move around as
needed.

Everytime a
students
reads a
eBook, they
are rewarded
through a
sticker
system. So
many stickers
can equal
the purchase
of their
favorite
books.

Create a
story with the
last 15 text

sent to you.
Allowing the
students to
use their
creative mind
to create a

given set of
phrases give
them a
chance to
create a story

Reflection:
I actually find the use of mobile learning extremely helpful within the classroom. Letting students explore and use technology to
better understand concepts within each of the Colorado standards. I found creating different lesson plans that integrated the use
of cellphones and iPads interesting because it gave me a chance to think outside of the box as a teacher. Allowing me to think of
lesson plans that would engage the students in things that the students would enjoy participating in. I think that the tools and
concepts could impact my knowledge of TPACK because I am allowing myself to integrate technology within each of the
standards. Widening my knowledge of TPACK will help me become a teacher that is good for students that want to incorporate
knowledge of technology into their everyday curriculum.
