Flash Focus will be in July (before school starts).


Students will be able to attend Orientation, pick
up their schedules and get their locker assignments.
Students can practice walking through their
schedules and practice opening their locker.

Use an accordion folder to keep


all of your papers together since
you cant carry your backpack
around school.

Also, you may not be able to


visit your locker in between every class. With the accordion
folder, you will at least have
your papers with you.

Grading Scale:
Tests are worth 65% of the
total grade
Quizzes are worth 25% of
the total grade

from 7:10am 2:15pm.
Students may be
dropped off starting
at 6:55am and must
be picked up by
2:30pm.

Tips:

Attendance Policy:

If a student will be absent, a parent must call


the attendance line (8038290) by 9 am to report
their child absent.

Ask to see the planner every night.


Dont be afraid to communicate with the teachers about
your student.
Read the student handbook, available online at:
www.ftcsc.k12.in.us/FTMS-W and click on Student
Handbook on the left side.
Know the dress code (available in the student
handbook).
Talk with your child about school - avoid general
questions like How was school? Ask more specific
questions like What did you do in your math class?
