Abdel Razzaq Barakat is the Director of Engineering at Petra

Airlines in Amman - Jordan having the responsibility of managing
a team to Ensure airworthiness of operated aircraft through the
compliance with Jordanian Civil Aviation CARC part M regulations ,
prior to joining Petra Airlines in Dec 2012 , he worked for 4 years
in the capacity of Materials & Planning Manager at Air Arabia in
Sharjah UAE having the responsibility of managing a team to
ensure parts supply , maintenance planning and arranging
contracts with MROs for base maintenance requirements .
Prior to working with air Arabia , he worked at Jordan Aircraft
Maintenance limited ( JorAMCo ) in the capacity of Deputy General
Manager Engineering & Planning , during the period 2000-2008 ,
whereby his main duties were to respond to Customers RFQs for
Base Maintenance works including negotiating and executing
contracts and foreseeing progress of work .
Prior to working with JorAMCo , Abdel Razzaq worked at Royal
Jordanian Airlines for a period of 19 years , ranging in posts from a
Technical Buyer Engineer , to Supervisor in Technical Planning , to
Manager of the Technical Planning Department .
During above mentioned periods Abdel Razzaq was assigned to
many projects mostly dealing with deliveries and re-deliveries of
aircraft necessitated by the Sale & Lease of aircraft , in all of
these projects Abdel Razzaq was extensively involved in the
actual process of delivering technical records , responding to
buyers / lessees aircraft inspections findings , managing target
deadlines for deliveries and re-deliveries , and coordinating with
various parties to achieve solutions to technical problems .
