Leadership and Vision: Effectively led over 180 faculty and staff members
as the Dean of Enrollment Management and Retention. Actively participate as
the leader of the Student Services Management Team. Led the efforts to
design the current MCC enrollment management strategy.

Coordination and Collaboration: As the leader of Student Services I have a


proven track record of collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. I
have assembled, participated in, and led many cross-functional college
committees with success.

Administration: Managed over 50 million dollars in Financial Aid awards


while reducing loan processing by 50%. Successfully administered grants in
Upward Bound, Special Populations, Student Employment, Career Resources
and TRIO programs. Helped design and implement payment deadline
process, same day admission, a state of the art queuing system, automation
of test scores to records, retention alert system, and degree audit. I have a
reputation for being a fair and open supervisor that holds my staff to high
standards.

Judicial Affairs: I lead the colleges Code of Conduct investigation team and
the Behavioral Intervention Team with great success. We have achieved a
100% hearing rating when students appeal to the formal board process.
Developed a judicial affairs communication strategy in collaboration with the
Chief of Police to ensure accurate and timely responses to threats.

Conflict Resolution: Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage conflict


and help resolve issues between different groups of people. As the Dean of
Enrollment Management and Retention, I supervised Administrative Support,
Faculty, Pro-Tech and Supervisor and Management Union members. I also
served on college committees to help in the processing of employee positions
and contract negotiations.

Soft Skills: I offer exemplary customer service, demonstrated follow


through, an ability to communicate with all types of students. These
intangible skills set my abilities apart from most upper level managers.
