CLASS NEWS
Welcome to Grade 2!

Upcoming Studies
We are beginning the school
year with a unit on
Exploration in science. There
will be a focus on geometry in
math while language will be
predictions and summarizing
our reading. The writing will be
looking at structure with a
focus on spelling.

Homework
Every student has been
provided with an Agenda that
will go home every night with
them with their homework.
Please check and initial the
agenda nightly as I will be
checking and writing notes in
this communication tool
throughout the week.

Parent Teacher
Conferences
The first few weeks of school I
will be getting to know your
child and they will begin
familiarizing themselves with
the class. The last week of
September I would love to
meet the families and discuss
any questions or concerns you
may have. See you then!

Teacher Introduction
My name is Jennifer Andrusyszyn and Im a teacher with some
great ideas for learning for the school year. I love to incorporate
technology and collaborative learning to help your student learn
and grow in our classroom. I believe in an inclusive environment
where everyone is accepted and on an equal playing ground.
Every student has dierent interests and abilities so I will use
these interests to help your student grow and learn. Your student
will be working in a positive learning community filled with
hands-on experiences and discovery learning opportunities. I
value the opportunity to get to know you and your child better, so
please feel free to contact me at any time throughout the school
year regarding your childs progress.
