Section 1 Role of the Teacher

A.

Being a teacher not only allows you to teach students but youre still

learning to abide by professional standards. As a teacher, you will practically

focus on the needs of the students. When teaching, you be effective by
following NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct, and Statement of Commitment and
many others. Those are just some things you have to follow being in that
field. A good professional learns every aspect of the job and carefully
discovers what is needed and wanted.
B.

Learning is not necessarily an outcome of teaching; this is something I

learned while taking a principles and Ethics class. One thing I know a teacher
has to build a positive relationship and values of each student. That lets the
teacher know how they need to teach you so that you can learn whatever it
is you need to go and be successful in your next grade. Teaching and
learning kind of falls in the same categories.
C.

The relationship between teacher and children should be very strong. A

teacher sees the students more than any there adult. Teachers play a big
role in every students life. There the students role model, its like the
teacher teaches you everything you need to know when you grow up and get
into the real world. At times students be like when do I need the things my
teacher is teaching me but like ten years later you look back and say Im
glad I listened and did what I was told to do.

D.

The teacher responsible for providing on educational atmosphere

where students have the opportunity to fulfill their potential for intellectual,
emotional, physical, spiritual and psychological growth. Teacher assistant is
for classrooms of young children ages birth through five, including children
with disabilities. Responsibilities include assessing childrens development,
planning and implementing activities to meet individual child needs,
collaborating with other child development staff, communicating with
parents supervising practicum students. As a director you will exists to
provide strong, effective, outcome oriented programs for children and their
families. They aspire to develop program that are strong, powerful, and rich
in experiences that encourage learning, honor diversity, and respect the
whole person and their relationships with the world around them. They
recognize our work with children is an investment in the future of America.
Section 2 Role of the Child
The childs role in the classroom should be the rules that the teacher
sit for class. But as we know all children misbehave sometime. Its normal
part of growing up. But childrens behavior is also influenced strongly by the
people and the environment around them. You can also prevent some
misbehavior of children from, using encouraging words, be positive about
everything, setting limits, give choices, plan ahead and last change the
setting. Also problem solving, you can talk with the child about why she is
behaving in a certain way, tell the child why the behavior is unacceptable
and how you might work together to change the behavior; for example when
the child is angry, she will tell you how she feels.

Section 3 Role of the Environment

The roles of a schedule in a classroom, problem come when students
do not know what time between activities. So a predictable schedule of what
to expect during the school day and week cultivates more productive
students and therefore greater learning. Schedule sets the stage for teachers
to communicate to students exactly what is expected of them and allows the
teacher to identify behaviors that must be directly taught to one or more
students, which in turns help the student develop greater student
responsibility and self-control. An effective classroom schedule combines
basic structure with enough flexibility to allow the teacher to respond to
events that may come during the school day ranging from assemblies to
episodes of extreme behavior problems. Something that I always remember
is just because a schedule is set does not mean that all students will be able
to follow it.
Section 4 Role of the Teacher as a Positive Guidance Counselor
Start my class working on an independent project, normally the first
few minutes goes well. But as soon as you get everyone, its a disruption.
You have to stop what you are doing, give the warning and reminder of
whatever it is that they are to be doing. To me, that takes up the student that
wants to learn something time. This is somewhat unfair in many ways. Then
that takes me back to life now, being in college you have some students that
take things serious and then you have those who are just coming for the fun
etc. The ones that dont care dont show up test day or days that they really

need to be in class so then that pushes the one who in class ready for
whatever back because they got to wait on the other to catch up.
Section 5 Role of the Teacher as Interventionist
Teachers are encouraged to participate in the planning of their student.
The role as a teacher of interventionist can be handling in many different
ways, first by breaking students task into manageable chunks. Students may
misbehave to not do a activities that they find to hard are very boring at
times. Second thing is increasing adult supervision, having more eyes to help
see what the behavior problem is. Third are offer choices, when the students
are offered choices to make simple but meaningful choices in their classroom
this may even improve the childrens behavior. Last teach the students to
take a break, which can claim the problem down, so that you or whoever can
help.
Section 6 Personal Beliefs
My personal beliefs about guidance are first what the child id taught at
home by parents. Most teachers communicate with the parents to know on
different levels what the parents are trying to achieve, but yet the teacher
stills gos by the schools standards as well. So the parent plays a big role in
the childs life. But then again to me its hard to say that because like I
stated early in the paper teachers are spending more time with the children
than the parents. Some changes that I have made by being in this class are,
commutating with child to get the child to solve there on problems. I find
myself not punishing my child like I have in the pass because he not doing
this or that. But I explain to my child though I message that this is what

going to happen if you this or if you dont do this. At first I didnt agree with
Mr. Alfie because some things that he was saying in his book just didnt seem
like they would work but I put myself to the test on week just to see if I could
see a change if I go on what Alfie said, But not only does it work its a lot of
help.
