Industry Experience
Intern at Vineland Research and Innovation Centre- Currently working with
Vinelands communications team, learning to promote their brand through print and
web material. This position has provided valuable experience connecting with
stakeholders, taking photographs, composing and editing communications materials,
posting and monitoring media content and planning and executing special events.
Client work in the Mohawk College Agency- Spent the past year interacting with real
clients in an agency setting. Worked with a representative from Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice
in first semester to plan and execute a fundraiser and produce communications pieces
for the organization. Currently leading a group of my classmates to plan an event to
raise awareness for the Hamilton Conservatory for the Arts, which demonstrates

develop a communications and crisis plan for the Hamilton Conservatory for the Arts.
Work Experience
Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board (Summer Student) 2014
Worked as a member of the communications support team completing daily customer
service duties such as, booking meeting rooms, creating Excel spreadsheets, and
shipping and receiving mail. Also provided extensive support for communications
projects including updating the Board website, producing school agendas and
calendars, writing and posting news stories and re-branding one of the district high
schools.
Hydro One, Helicopter Services (Summer Student) 2012 2013
As an administrative assistant responsibilities included data entry, customer service
duties, communicating with contacts, physical and computerized inventory, shipping
and receiving, and tracking flight times.
