To call a web service: 1. Create consumer proxy. proxy class can be generated.
2. create logical port. go to SOAMANAGER
Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP):- An appropriate protocol definition is required to call
Web services based on Internet technologies. SOAP provides a more straightforward
standard that allows you to call Web services in decentralized, distributed landscapes. SOAP
is also based on an XML language definition.
Service registry:
The service registry therefore provides a description of the Web service
only. This description forms an abstraction layer and is therefore not dependent on the
corresponding implementation.
