Reading We will continue reading The Lemonade Wars. Thanks to donations from last years class, I have

22 copies to share with the class.


Vocabulary We will continue learning vocabulary words and their corresponding definitions. The words we will be
practicing over the next few weeks are words that are found in the directions of the end of the year test. Students cant
successfully answer questions if they dont understand the vocabulary used in that question. We will have 10 words a
week for the next few weeks. The following words will be tested on Friday, April 3 rd.
Strategy: A plan of how to complete a task
Purpose: The reason why a person does something
Inference: An educated guess you make about what is happening in the story
Autobiography: The story of a persons life, written by that person
Biography: The story of a persons life, written by another author
product- the answer from multiplying two numbers
factors-a number that is multiplied with one or more other numbers to give a product.
dividend- a number that is divided by another number

divisor-a number that another number is divided by


quotient- the number that results when one number is divided by another.

Writing- We will continue persuasive writing.


Math: We will conclude the Go Math! Book with our last math test Unit 7 test on Tuesday. Then we will begin to
prepare for the Georgia Milestones test in mid April.
Social Studies : We will begin to learn about Lyndon B. Johnson.
Science: We will begin our unit on magnets.
