This two story brick townhouse is one of Waynesville, Ohio's earliest Quaker houses, built by John Craft circa 1815. John Craft (1750 - 1832) came to Waynesville from Burlington County, New Jersey in 1800. On November 18, 1813 he purchased part of Lot #7 on Miami Square. Craft was a carpenter by trade and was the first Quaker buried in the Friends' Cemetery in Waynesville.
