i. Discussed possibility of having a transcript service

1. Notion not received well
a. Thought is that students will rely on this
alternative method of learning rather than attend
class
ii. Discussed students request for a meditation room (quiet
reflection or quite prayer)
1. Admins informed that there is no need for such a room
at this point in time as there is currently a facility
available at Bellevue Hospital.
2. Council members unsatisfied and plan to voice concern
again.
iii. Discussed obtaining ear-buds to protect students from high
frequency noise of drill
1. Deans requested additional information
2. Council to inquire with NYU Audiology for further details
c. CaC Apparel Sale and Scrub Sale
i. 2018 Apparel Sale
ii. 2018 Scrub Sale
iii. 2017 Scrub Sale
iv. Funds raised for D2 Class Council approximately $1400.00
d. MA/SD White Coat Ceremony
i. Event planned by Student Affairs not Class Council
ii. Previous years no guests tickets were available
iii. Class of 2017 Councils (over the course of approx. 1 year)
have advocated for guest tickets and change of venue
1. Currently allotted 1 guest ticket per student
iv. Policy regarding ticket sales resale is strictly
prohibited

4. Welcome D1s!
a. D1 Class Council representatives attended this Class Council
meeting.
i. General information provided, such as what to expect, typical
events that were planned/run, inaugural events that Class of
2017 impalement, etc.
ii. D1 members met with counterparts in D2 Class Council to
learn about their role.
