Flipping the Classroom:

Students can view the assignment and have some type of

understanding before coming to class and class time can be used to
build on the information through activities, group work and even hands

on learning
Teachers become more of a guide to learning instead of standing up

lecturing for the entire class time.

The Department of Education is working on putting together teacher
networks. This will enable teachers to share resources and knowledge.

Pros:

More hands on learning

More group work that teaches being part of a team

Students are more engaged
Enabled peers to help each in and out of the classroom
Teachers can provide one on one help to students that have
questions without interrupting the other students

Cons:

Students without internet access will fall behind

Will the student be held accountable to do the assigned reading
at home
