LIFE SAVING

ORIGINS
Life saving has become a growing sport in many countries. It can be played
indoors (swimming pool) or outside (beaches). This sport began with the
humanitarian purpose of train people in order to save as many lives as
possible and step by step was becoming more popular.
Nowadays, this sport has been dividing into humanitarian purpose and
sport. The sport activity makes you obtain a good fitness, consequence of
train many abilities like strength, speed and endurance.

THE SPORT
Consists on various series of competition disciplines intended to show lifesaving
skills. There are many possibilities:

100m dummy drag with fins

As you can see there are many disciplines, each swimmer is good in a specific proof,
but there is on which collect some different styles, it is called super lifeguard and is
the most exciting proof.
