Your class quickly settled down for your

class. You placed the definition of
frequency and histogram in power point
slides and asked them to copy the
definitions down. You then
demonstrated examples of each, i.e.
frequency chart indication of your
students preference for animals for
pets. You showed a short video about
making a histogram
You distributed to your students a dry
erase board with graph lines You then
distributed color
Markers and a bag of skittles. They
were then to develop a frequency chart
and a histogram involving the color
skittles in the bag. Very excellent idea.
This was on the students level and
interests.
By using a graphic demonstration of
what frequency is in the chart you
created was a very clearly and visual
depiction of frequency.
By using various colored skittles and a
graphing board, you were able to move
the concrete to abstract. Great idea.

Your classroom management skills are

exceptional. The best management
skills for a teacher is a sound, student

all of these, and therefore your class
was on task and engaged.
You continuously walked around the
room and monitored your students. I
was very impressed with your constant

I feel that your use of student centered

activities was extremely effective in
your class. You used examples that
would be very significant to your
students. By using these real-world
things i.e. skittles or pets, you made it
very easily related by your students.
Great job.
