APS Technology has developed a Downhole Drilling Monitor (DDM)

that measures and records weight-on-bit (WOB), torque-on-bit (TOB),
internal and annular pressure and temperature. Downhole memory
stores the data, or the sub may send real-time data via a mud pulse
telemetry system using the customer's downhole connector system.
