God created the Heavens and the earth, we have read this many times in Genesis
1. I believe God has used evolution in His creation of everything. I can see that it seems a
little awkward but I think God wanted everything to perfection and he wanted it to roll into
itself. But the years it took to make simple things were probably seconds to God. But now I
feel everything is tainted. I see a lot of sexually importance in todays society that its
disgusting. We see so much of lust, envy and idolism today. Its like we want so much of
technology and of things we do not need that its distracting from what we really should be
focused on. The video on Jasons Rope; we are so focused on now that our eternity is then
not now. What will it take for us to see that God is waiting on us? We should not be craving
new gadgets or inflicting sexual impurity. I recall the Rated R days when it was Contains
crude language and Mild content That was when I was 7, and it was for the movie Bugs
Life! Now Rated G has had lower standards and has become the ratings of Bugs Life. We
are setting up future generations to believe something they probably shouldnt be watching
is okay because it has the Rated G seal. We went from pure and discretional to everything
is out in the open so Who cares?
Human Being; a life form that has an axial skeleton, been born, a mammal, has
human like features, we have choices, and we are the highest part of the food chain. We
start off as an innocent baby. We are normally good. We do good deeds, help our brethren
yet we have our morals a bit off? I say we are evil, because we do actions that are not what
Christ instructed us to do. We are messed up because we see what society does and we
want to join in. We want to be able to enjoy life now and not worry about the consequences
because some nut created a catch phrase called Y.O.L.O (You Only Live Once) We are
messed up because we do not see people to look up to, making us want a different life.
Even having the Christian label people are prejudice and think of Christians as these
pristine and ignorant hypocrites. We are not living a life instructed by Jesus. We go to
church and set our characters for only Sundays, but the rest of the week we are like its all
about us. We can try harder to live like Christ. But if we do not see people we want to be
like, that are extraordinary role models for Christianity.
As humans we have an idea of right and wrong. We are taught this by our parents
and are rewarded by doing the right thing. Common Sense; we are taught how to behave,
what is socially accept, and consequences to our decisions. We are hammered by this
things that let us know right and wrong. You may make a claim that; what if the childrens
parents are terrible and teach awful things. Well NO; because we have ability to choose for
ourselves. We know that Jail or Gaining weight or etc. is the consequence to our decision.
We have an idea! Everyone should at least try to be better human beings because
everyone else suffers from things we do. (I hate using this an example) but the Sandy Hook
Elementary Shooting, the shooter Adam Lanza he had issues. But just because he had
those mental issues DOES NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE make what he did okay.
Or the Aurora C.O movie theater shooting, the shooter may suffer from mental issues but so
do many others! However we do not act out in a negative way, we seek help in people or
religion or we see tomorrow will be a better day. We know humans what we do will have
some consequence, but why cant we apply it? Why do we blame others for our mistakes?
We know what is right and wrong.
I question why I am here. I wonder why things worked out for me to be here every
day since May 29th 2012. But each time I read a Psalm; I feel special. I know that I am here
to love each day. I have so much to do in my little life and majority of it is to love life but also
become closer to God. Our Ultimate purpose is to seek God. We are here to find God and
someday go to our home with him. This meaning comes from my heart. I think the reason
my mom went to be with God was because she seek him so much. He was her everything,
she came to Him and sought Him. Maybe that is also the reason I am here, because I still
need to seek God, which is something I need to work on.
We either go to Heaven or Hell. If we have accept Jesus as our Savior and believe
He died on a cross for ourselves; we are promised a happy eternity with God. But if we
dont accept God we go to Hell. Hell is a place in which God is not present and its seems
scary from what the Bible states. We have hope! We can either live life dedicated to
ourselves or to God.
I believe Jesus is my Savoir and the Son of God. I believe he died for me, was
resurrected and is seated at the right side of Gods throne. I believe Jesus was born of the
Virgin Mary and suffered under Pontus Pilate. He is important; he has given millions of
people the chance to be Him and His Father. If Jesus did not fulfill the prophecy and backed
out or wanted to be a part of society; we would probably still be sacrificing animals and
making altars and all these Old Testament type things. We wouldnt have salvation in this
easy form. So Jesus is very important. He has given the best gift to everyone for free.
Christianity is very intriguing. We have a very powerful God. But it seems that Christianity
has flaws; we think we are better than others and become hypocrites. For me it is a turn off
when I meet a Christian who so Jesus oriented that they are annoying. Example of this is
meeting a couple whom thought they were amazing because they have this Church
attendance that is high ranked and volunteer for one thing. I gets on my nerves because
they will boast and act as if God is bowing down to them. That is why I do not like being
called a Christian. I would prefer being called a Child of God or a Servant of God. Why I
choose these titles is because it is not about me, I am stating who I work for. Christianity is
amazing because we are given grace, forgiveness, and freedom. I love that! I just want to
praise God without all the animosity of what comes with the title of being a Christian.
