La introduccin: You just won a contest that awarded you roundtrip airfare to Spain, 2
nights at the luxury hotel Ritz Madrid, and $2500 worth of euros to spend at select
Spanish clothing websites. Your quest/assignment is to shop online for two complete
outfits that you will wear on a weekend trip to Madrid where you will have lunch with
the famous Spanish actor Antonio Banderas (Zorro, Puss in Boots) at el restaurante La
Barraca and dinner at Casa Lucio with the Royal family! You should buy souvenirs for
your family/friends with any remaining money.

Paso 1 (Step 1):

Find out what $2500 is worth in euros. Complete and turn in the Paso 1 worksheet to
me today. You may use either of the following currency converter websites:

Paso 2 (Step 2):

Go online at exclusive Spanish shopping websites to purchase two complete outfits.
The first outfit for your lunch date is casual but the second outfit for dinner with the
Royal family is formal.
Your outfits must be complete with appropriate clothing, footwear, outerwear (jacket,
sweater, coat, etc.), and appropriate accessories (jewelry, tie, purse, scarf, sun
glasses, perfume, and/or cologne). Be careful to stay within your budget but dont be
caught not fully dressed or dressed for the wrong season or occasion! Your long
weekend will take place over Spring break.

Paso 3 (Step 3):

If you come home empty-handed, your family and friends will be very disappointed!
Make sure to choose some souvenirs for 5 or 6 people. Do not go over your budget!
Finally, record your reasons for purchasing the souvenirs you chose for each person.
