WORK STARTED ON EAST-NAKHODKA TRANSPORT HUB


The Summa Groups Stroynovatsiya has started working on the development of the East-Nakhodka
Transport Hub in Primorsky Krai. The public-private partnership sees Stroynovatsiya LLC build the
new port infrastructure at Vostochny Port, as ordered by FKU Rostransmodernizatsiya.
Plans include integrating railway approaches and a new coal terminal in the transport hub. The
overall infrastructure will include an extension of the railway track by 50 kilometres, 11 bridges and
overpasses and four berthing facilities reaching a total length of 900 meters.

Stroynovatsiya will reconstruct the current


infrastructure, which will allow for dredging
operations and see geodetic survey works.
With more than 1400 people working on the
project and 15%, at least, of the work being
given to local subcontractors, the project is
scheduled to be completed in late 2017.

NEW CEO OF VMTP ELECTED


Mr Valery Mestulov has been elected the new CEO of the Commercial Port Vladivostok (VMTP), as of
the 13th of February 2015. The VMTP, part of Summa Groups FESCO, is situated in the north-west of
Golden Horn Bay, Russia and services 16 lines (10 container lines, 4 Ro-Ro lines and 2 passenger
lines.
Mr Mestulov has a background in management of container terminals (Far East Russia and
Vostochnaya Stevedore Limited Liability Company) and was appointed by the Supervisory Board of
Commercial Port of Vladivostok. Previous head of VMTP and FESCO Transportation Group, Mr
Konstantin Sokolov, comments,
