Alex Lin is a teen activist that wants to make a difference in the

world. When Alex found out that tons of electronic waste was
dumped, he knew it was a huge problem. Alex started a clean up
for the e-waste that was dumped.
Alex lobbied the Rhode Island legislature to band dumping ewaste. Alex won the problem with dumping e-waste. Alex was
popular for doing it. Alex traveled around the country and the
world for the awards that he received. Alex gave the refurbished
computers to media centers. Countries like Mexico, Kenya and
many more received them.
Alex also wants to make awareness for e-waste in developing
countries so it wont be a problem.
