Starting from the end of May, I planned on having internship at CV. Darfen Jaya Garment. This company is a garment
manufacturing company. I would be interning at the company every Saturday with 4 hours/meeting. During the
internship, the manager would show me around and teach my skills that are carried out by the employees. From this
internship, I would widen my knowledge about the real world instead of only school environment.
Learning Outcomes:
Increased awareness of strength and growth
Through this CAS it will increase the knowledge that I possess. This will then shape me into a better person.
This is because the more knowledge that I possess, the wiser I would be when making decision. This
internship will give me new skills on garment that I havent known before. Therefore, this is stepping and
observing the real world, starting from internship in a company.

Undertaken new challenge

I have stepped out of my comfort zone when I decide to take on this internship. Im a person whos sort of
difficult when I have to socialize or communicate with new people. Though through this internship, it will
challenge me to communicate and interact with many unfamiliar people, this will train me to be more
socialized and adapt to new conditions faster. This internship will make a big impact because when I graduate
from DP, I will go to university, which will consist of many unfamiliar people and like it or not I would have
to socialize, communicate and interact with them.

Planned and initiated activities

Before starting the CAS, I have talked to the manager about the internship that I will be taking. I have also
planned the time and place that will be consistent. The skills that I would learn have also been planned
roughly. The manager has organized the internship so that it will match the skill and knowledge that I have so
far.

Worked collaboratively with others

During the internship, I would have to communicate and interact with others. This will require the
collaborative skill. This will then test and define my interaction skill with other people. It will also train my
skill in working with others because it will be something that I ought to do in university and work.

Shown perseverance and commitment

In order to acquire maximum result from this internship, I have planned to stay committed through the
internship. Even though its not my favor to communicate and interact with people that I barely know. I have
to acquaint with them in order to acquire the skill and knowledge. This will give me challenge that I have to
take on and it will show how responsible I am.

Engaged with issue of global importance

This company is a garment manufacturing company. This means that they manufacture sweaters to be
exported to other countries. This engages with the issue of export and import. From this internship, I will be
able to understand the import and export process in Indonesia. This can show either Indonesia is making
improvements or not. This will also show how globalization works around the world, because this company
exports to buyers in German, and this companys buyers are from other countries.

Developed new skills

From this internship it will develop my skills in socializing with new people. One more thing is that it will
develop my knowledge in globalization issue, especially import and export. These skills will then be applied
into my daily life. This will be seen from the awareness that I will be having towards the issue of export and
import.
